I saw The Necks in Melbourne Australia twice (they are a Sydney outfit, no?) not too long ago and was very impressed. Especially the gig in the Melbourne Town Hall, where they had use of the old pipe organ. And they used it in a very unexpected way to my thinking. It looked as though the session was recorded, and I hope to soon see a 'live melbourne town hall" CD out soon. But you never know, the music biz is weird at times. Have you heard an older release called 'Sex'? Outstanding.
