Tenor Saw`s music is a little bit difrent than the other reggae bands, but that is what make Tenor Saw nice. I like it. In my opinion his best song is "Ring the alarm"

Pumpkin Belly, Lot of Signs, Ring the Alarm etc. It is sad that he was taken a way so young. Who knows what other musical masterpieces he would have put out for us!!

Utmost respect , his voice is like a melody by itself; whom ever killed him you can trust it was jelousy thing. Even in death his music still get big ups! renowned artist til this day uses his music and music style.

WHAT? Super Cat ran over Tenor Saw with a car? LMAO, Tenor Saw was killed in Houston. Drug deal gone bad. SLUGGY RANKS owed Super Cat some money and was a tad intimidated and NITTY GRITTY was cool with Sluggy Ranks and intervened. Not sure what rumor you heard but that is so far from the truth it is not even funny. Nitty Gritty did NOT kill Tenor Saw.

Tenor Saw was not killed in Houston..he was killed in Las Vegas...!
and I said "romours says"...cause no one really knows how Tenor Saw get killed & who killed him...
I´ve read diffrent stories about Tenor Saws death in every paper....
the reason I said that he was ran down by a car driven by Supercat, is because I asked a taxi-driver in Jamaica about Tenor Saw, Nitty Gritty & Supercat...
and he told me that, and that Supercat is VERY hated in Jamaica cause he killed both Tenor Saw and Nitty Gritty....
but I guess that gay(sry....guy) "never" knows more then the Jamaican people..or?

Tenor Saw is dead, so just leave all the rumours behind. He was a great singer and that made him human like us. He made mistakes like anyone of us so jus cool down on these petty rumours. Supercat is a ruff DJ so stop an leave te petty squabbles.

tenor saw and nitty gritty was best friends, if you listen to sound tapes like king jammys hifi , youthman promotion, they always big up each other, actually nitty gritrty introduced Tenor saw to producer george phang{powerhouse} who cut his first tune called "roll call" in 1984
they did an lp together called "tenor saw meets nitty gritty 1984-1986
Tenor saw died in texas aug1988, i have a video with his mother talking about his life and tragic death. he was found in a remote area with head & other body injuries, he was out in the feild for maybe days in pain before he died.

This is Tenor Saw son and this is no lie, my father died when i was 1 years old so i dont even know him, but i hear so many great things about him. My mother told me he was a great man who love music to death. Theres so many stories but people do not even know the truth. People in the music bis treated my father very wrong they did not pay him his money, thats why he made that song called "run come call me". Thats why they killed him in texas. He did a show and they didnt pay him, the record sold off and they didnt pay him. Till this day i dont know if my father was murderd or if it was an mastake. But i highly think it was murderd!!!!!! So if u know the truth please help me out!!!!
