help! i have been trying to locate an old stevie wonder song. one of the lines in the song is " don't you worry bout a thang, don't you worry bout a thang mama." he speaks pseudo spanish at the beginning of this song. i love this song and hadn't heard it in a long time. if anybody knows the name of the song and what album its on, i would greatly appreciate it. thanks.

my name is Jessi and I'm 18 years old from bc, canada. I'm a big Stevie fan as well, he is so amazing and a real inspiration to me. I'm also blind from birth. I don't know what Stevie's eye condition is but I have ROP (retanopathy of prematurity) meaning I was born prematurely and too much oxygen got to my brain causing me to lose my sight...anyway, I'm a musician too, hoping to make it and like I said Stevie's just a total inspiration! his music is so soulful and he never gave up, he didn't let his blindness get in the way of what he wanted and I'm the same way...I think he puts a wonderful message out there.
anyway, I just wanted to drop in and say hi as ou can tell by my screen name I'm also a huge Aretha Franklin fan...she's my idol too. if anyone wants too, feel free to email me at

I was Stevie's Travel Agent in the early 80's. I organised his North American and European Tour for 'Hotter than July". I have gotten to know him personally as well as professionally and I can tell you he is the most genuine Super Star you will ever meet.
I will tell you a little story...He had finished his album ' Secret Life of Plants.' It was supposed to be a soundtrack for a movie with the same title. However, the movie bombed in Cannes festival. He decided to change a few songs and release it anyway. He called me at 3.00AM in New York ( it was 12.00 midnight in LA), I asked him if he knew what time it was? He said 'No' as he couldn't tell the time because he was blind !!!
Anyway, he wanted to fly somewhere where he didn't know anybody as he wanted to finish the last song on the album. I booked him to Toronto and I flew from New York to meet him. I took him to the Hilton Harbour Castle hotel and checked him in. He wanted to go to the Disco at the hotel, and so we did and I am glad it was dark in there and nobody could see him. I left him and his friend Keith ( who goes around with him everywhere, for obvious reasons ).
I arrived early the next morning and he opened the door and told me he had finished the song overnight. He asked me to sit down and he played the pre-recorded background music and started to sing " Send One your Love ". It was the most amazing experience! It was like a CD was playing and yet I was only a couple of feet away. Keith was still sleeping and so I was the FIRST person to ever hear the song.
I hope you enjoyed a little bit of insight into the greatest artist in more ways than one.
