Yeah it was, one of the few bands that sticks with their roots and never becomes dull. Wish they were appreciated by more people. Wish all the members the best of luck with any new projects

SW will always be my favorite band ever. They are right up there with the Beatles and Rolling Stone.. Classic.

SW is my favorite band of all time. The music is just so original, and the lyrics are so strong that you can feel what the band is feeling. It was too bad that they did not get the credit that they deserved, if so we would not be left feeling what if, but have that giddy feeling of impatients thinking of what could be coming next. I too wish them the best of luck in all of their future projects, and who knows, maybe down the line we'll see the member of Stabbing Westward back together again.

I to, was heart broken when I found out when they broke up, personally there lyrics meant everything to me, because it was like the past repeating itself, and I realized that thier are many people out there sharing the same intense experiences with love and hurt.

christopher hall is joining a band called "The Dreaming" and is recording demos right now. Also ive been hearing that Walter Flakus will be helping them on some of the tracks and that there sound will be more like "Wither, Blister, Burn + Peel" or "Darkest Days. hopefully they will be just like SW just with a different name.

I also feel that Chris and the crue should have gave it one more go around. Its heart breaking that they didnt. Chris is my idol, So i saport his decisions 100%. I can't wait untill The Dreaming has released there first album and dominate the world and kick some ass!

Stabbing's Westward's music has inspired me so much. I look up to Chris, and wish I was as heavy into the bands music before the break up as opposed to now. I wish I could have seen them in concert. I am keeping up with The Dreaming and know it'll make it big. When they release a record, I'm going to be the first to buy it at my nearest music store, and spread the music among my friends. Good luck to the whole band in what they're doing now, and especially Chris in his new band.

I remember when I first got my drivers license, the first thing I did was to go buy "Ungod", speed home, crank the stereo WAAAAAY up, and listen to some of the best rock music ever. The drum and bass of the first track was INSANE!!!

WTF? you say they are a shitty NiN rippoff? You are absolutley fucked up shiite. First of all NiN is a great band but so is Stabbing and you should realize that both of these bands are two strong emotions, one (Stabbing Westward) is the melancholy dismal band, whilst the other (NiN) is the angry "hate machine" band, to put it simply. So next time you all write something about SW that refers to it as a shitty NiN rippoff, lets not put it on a list that is for the Stabbing Westward fans obviously. And if you were just saying your oppinion and just venting, then so am I, and I don't give a fuck, fuckface!

They kick ass!! But when i went on the net to see the updates on their website it said they broke up and i went WTF!? They are awsome i dont know why they broke up so someone please reply to this cause that sucked badly. I loved Darkest Days and Whither Blister Burn+Peel and their newest one.I still listen to them alot and who the hell said they are an NIN ripeoff? I like NIN too but SW are not ripeoff artists! Stabbing Westward is ranked up there with my other favorite bands, Korn, Deftones, and Smashing Pumpkins. It's to bad that they broke up. maybe if i liked them sooner i would have bought their cds and told my friends and they would buy it and they would make more money and maybe change the course of history.......well, guess not......good luck to The Dreaming and i hope it's as heavy as Ungod with the feeling of the self titled.

I'm a little french boy and I've never seen any album of the stabbing westward in a shop but I've heard "The thing I hate" in the game Duke Nukem time to kill. That was so fucking great ! I succeed into finding Darkest Days. When I heard the first song I guessed this album was made to be listened to during the night. So I started listen to it at 1h05m.
I know I will never live an experience like that again.
