it would be nice to just sit and talk with sly about the past and his life..he is such a tragic figure with the drugs and all..such an awsome talent like his is a gift from god..i just wonder why he let it all go to waste , i surpose we all have demons inside of us that we fight all the time to prevent our own distruction...my god be with you sly , and may his ligth shine on you..you don't need darkness to do what you think is rigth...everybody is a star sly ..as long as there is breath in you, you can still shine...will always love you man..and your music....praise god..

It would be nice to have the "there's a riot goin' on" CD digitally remastered, the sound is horrible and there's a constant "Zzzzzzz..." going on! I've noticed that Sony Music is reticent in doing remastering...I've got some old Bob Bylan's CDs (which are beautiful) that I almost can't listen to: the vocal and harmonica tracks are so loud that i have to turn the volume down unless I want to break my ears, and so i'm not able to listen to the other instruments!
I hope my english isn't so bad, thank you for listening,
peace

Nobody has posted here since June, but I ran into a guy named Jim Alexander who said he played with this band at woodstock. Anyone heard of him?
