Do her songs give you confort, make you ready to dance, feel pressure to look or act like her? What?

I have a lot of respect for Shakira. Contrary to popular belief, she did not blow up recently. She has been a global artist since the age of 13. And of course she does write her own songs. But the fact that she wrote her last album completely in English is amazing. How many people out their are fluent enough in a 2nd language to write a whole album? I am looking foward to her next!

Shakira is a phenomenon. She started writing music at 8 years of age, obtained a recording contract with Sony at age 13 after winning several competitions. She plays at least three instruments, guitar, drums and harmonica. Her live performances are astounding and her hip and belly movements are just wonderful and VERY sexy. She has great energy and intelligence and is also very ambitious. She has seamlessly blended at three musical influences, arab, latin and anglo. Who could NOT be impressed with all that!! Her stage presence is very strong and her fans just love her. What more can I say!!
