He is an extremley godd song writer that puts heart and emotion into everything that he does and he has become one of my favorite artist. I saw him in Nashville at the Ryman. The show that had recieved so much controversy. But I am thankful that he did kick the the guy out. He was ruing the show for everybody. More artist need to be like that.

As a singer myself I sympathise with Ryan on this.However I do find his constant whining about his shoplifting ex"girlfriend(mmmn?)" a tad irritating

I think Ryan is incredible, in my opinion this man could do no wrong. Everything about him is amazing, from his quirky yet interesting personality to his indescribable and simply amazing music. I had the pleasure of meeting him after one of his concerts in Chicago and since then, cannot stop thinking about it and how wonderful that moment was. He is such a sweetheart, I have never seen anyone be that sincere and caring with their fans. He actually enjoys his fans and what he does and not a second went by that you could not tell that. Ryan, you have made me appreciate music again and for that, you will always be my favorite.

i first saw david ryan adams on charlie rose... i was smitten... he looked like allen ginsberg meets woody allen meets waynes world on acid... maybe it was the glasses... they showed clips of new york new york and answering bell... then it hit me... i used to turn the channel when answering bell would air for i found it to be too wizard of ozzy and sir elton john as the fairy queen kind of scared me... i did find the music fetching and ryan the girl the poppies oh so divine... i went to the music store the next day and bought evey thing with his name... i would have friends wanting to burn copies of my cds but i would make them buy...i live in northren california and would go to various stores to see how he was selling[quite well thank you] and to make sure ryan was in stock...i am so lucky to have found ryan... liked him right away heard the music and then it was one love...

Ryan is awesome. I saw his show in Houston opening for the Rolling Stones and it was great except it was in this giant stadium and i couldn't really see him. He had some funny on-stage banter. I really enjoy all his cd's especiallly Heartbreaker. How I love those southern boys!

I wonder how it feels to have people posting obsessive messages, and asking random questions like about how fucking tall you are... Yeah.. Ryan is as sexy as a "southern boy" can be, but that is only on the exterior.. as a symbol, or a musician... but Who really fucking even knows this boy??? I am smitten as many others are as well, but I do not deny the possibility that I could easilly end up loathing the damn boy.. But then I suppose I may be unusually prone to hate...
