"Fallen Angel" is probably my favorite song of his.......expressing the pain of death of a friend, a brother, Richard Manuel.

I heard that the lines
".....you've got to play the hand that's delt you
that's what the old man always said..."

is a refrence to Bill Graham .....("old man"...)......does anyone know if this is true or not?
