Regina Spektor has some of the most amazing music, lyrics, songs in general. How is it that today, we can (as a society) recognize a song by PARIS HILTON, but not one (or many!) by Regina Spektor?

It makes NO sense.

This girl is a major talent, not a studio-created pop artist. Hate to refer to another site, but uchoob has a lot of live vids showing a very assured artist capable of delivering the goods night after night because she has them on tap from some unfathomeable well that all artists wander in the desert for. Or I could just say I like her music. ;-)

I saw Regina live July 19 way down here in little old NZ, (we're lucky artists bother to come so far!). I can only say I confirmed my remarks above. Funny as well.

Still haven't heard her last two albums, but Soviet Kitsch was absolutely my favorite of the first three. Brilliant artist, look forward to tracking down the rest of her stuff.
