I met Dennis Lyxzén at a club in stockholm. He was the nicest person ever. He was there with his buddy, some guy called Ludde, probably from his band, the(I)NC. He talked so good english, i actually started to wonder if he really was from sweden...Every swede i've met, suck at english... ;) anyway, he was really wonderful.

my boyfriends band toured with them in Europe quite a few years back and said that one of the guys from refused said "you wanna know who the first hardcore band i ever saw live was?? us!"

i always considered them on the edge of punk and hardcore. My fav swede band, along with amon amarth and meshuggah. Soilwork comes in 4th.... Their instrumental

Another good Swedish band is Millencolin. I saw them live a while back. It rocked man.

song to fan the flames of discontent is a great album. not as good production as the shape of punk to come, but great shit. they are one of the best bands ever...not to mention an amazing drummer.

the refused rock so fucking hard that they should be their own element on the periodic table in my opinion

i really cant think of any other band i would pay large amounts to see right now except them and ... well... slint who will be touring on a limited basis in the next month... dont miss them if you can help it

hey... why is that other band associated with the refused?? i forget their name but i was highly disappointed in comparison

i think my favorite song is the protest 69 song... something about maletesta i think... man

all i can say is that sometimes i think they could have revived the soul of punk compared with all others

i am sure that they are righteous people and that ludde fella should come back to visit my website more often
