I think that this Band is sooooo awesome

Rasputina has got to be one of the most unique bands I've ever heard. They have sound like no other band I've ever listened to. Although they may not consider themselves gothic, and even joke about being called gothic at times, I think that they give "gothic", and all other people for that matter great music to listen to. I would just like to thank them for being so original in appearance and sound. Keep up the good work! You guys Rock!

Rasputina's music gives the listeners a chill. A sort of spiritual connection....

I like them, their music is very pretty and interesting, it takes you to unexplored places of your soul, it makes you feel like you were somewhere misterious, like floating on a dream.... makes you wanna kill yourself†

I wish there were more bands like rasputina, but then they wouldn't be as unique as they are, their music's so good it hurts when you hear something else, i want to see rasputina live to feel the vibes in the air.
Listen to Rasputina made me realize how beautiful music can be... its
ART.. beautiful art........................

I first saw Rasputina on David Letterman a few years back. I was amazed and delighted to hear this group. It really flattened me. I purchased "The Lost and Found" and it's been in my CD player ever since. Melora and company are very ingenious in their delivery, subtlety and originality. They'll be in San Diego, day after tomorrow. You can bet your Beatle Boots I'll be there. 'tourniquet" and "this little piggy" are well worth the price of admission.

Raspy with Jorane and Apocalytpica is the more awesome cello music I've ever heard !!!!!!
Very goth and XIX century ......

rasputina Ă© a melhor banda de todos os tempos!1 eu amo rasputinaaaaaaaaaaa d+++++++

>>By Lady_Lilith   (Thursday, 24 Apr 2003 18:26)

the ironic humor in their lyrics and the pure simplistic beauty of melody is what drew me to really enjoy this band. On the album "How We Quit the Forest" i really get a kick out of the "dimond" song...although my alltime favorite is off the record "Thanks For the Ether", the cover of "I've got a brand new pair of rollerskates"...you guys always seem to keep things interesting.

I totally dig on Rasputina. There music or rather Malora's music since she write's most of it is strangly familiar, like I've heard it in a dream or somthing. I saw them play finally at the Trubadore in LA with "Stolen babies", (also a good band) and then "carbon nine" who seamed to be a joke but I'm still not sure on that one. The keybordist for the band I'm in AROMATICS saw rasputina with me that night too and he dug it also.

I love Rasputina. For the past year, I've loved them and I can proudly say that they were the ones who inspired me to play cello (I used to be a violinist-- I sorta converted ;)...The music is incredible, alternating between tragically beautiful songs to ironic melodies...The CD art is fabulous as well, very nostalgic and Victorian, I believe. These ladies should be given a lot of credit-- I know from experience, it's not easy to play cello while corseted. ;)

Rasputina's music makes me warm inside, like I'm in love, wheter it's sad or ironic. I can't stop listening to them or singing their songs everywhere I go. I owe them all credit for the interest I'm taking in cello's nowadays. I'm going totally inside myself when I hear cello's, and I'm starting to take lessons after the summer holiday. Just a shame that I live in Norway, and therefore have very limited access to information, accessories and audio- and videorecordings of Rasputina... If anyone knows about a fanclub or something I could join, please mail me at ihelset@hotmail.com !
Thankyou Melora!!
