Listening to Prefab Sprout makes me want to play drums with this super talented band. What an unbelieveble mix of surprising compositions en emotional lyrics.

Thanks Paddy and your other Sprouts for giving us your Prefab excitament.

Kind regards, Rob B. from Holland

paddy mcAloon is a mysterious person i would like to meet. his songs are mysterious and eccentric. the way he creates images with his lyrics and harmonies has meant a lot to me since my brother bought steve mcqueen in 1985.

listening to prefab makes me feel I`m 16 - 17 years old again. Maybe it`s got to do with the naivitee in his lyrics.

I didn`t know about the album " gunman an other stories" until now:23.07.03, nor did I know about Paddy`s latest solo project. Nice !
I`ll have to buy them immedeatly.

HI IT`S TROND AGAIN. I`M 31, MALE FROM NORWAY.

I JUST WANTED TO SAY WHAT I SOMETIMES USE TO CALL PREFAB`S MUSIC, " HUGH GRANT" POP. I HOPE NO ONE INTERPRETS THAT AS AN INSULT. BY ALL MEANS, I MEAN IT AS A COMPLIMENT.

THERE`S SOMETHING IN THE VERY ENGLISHNESS IN THE MUSIC. I MEAN, YOU CAN`T SUSPECT PADDY FOR BEING ANYTHING ELSE BUT BRITISH WHEN YOU HEAR HIM SING.

AND I CAN ALMOST IMAGINE MYSELF PREFAB`S MUSIC BEING USED AS ASOUNDTRACK IN A FILM WITH GRANT AS A STARRING ROLE.
DOES ANYONE AGREE ?

Prefab Sprout.....my "music that you would take with you to a desert island".
I have to admit, "Gunman..." isn't my favourite album, but who knows how difficult it must be for Paddy to have his music published, and what compromises he has to make.
I often listen to his music and still, after 20 years, keep hearing new things.
Great music !!!
