i definately agree with everyone's remarks.. if yall like leftover salmon and string cheese, download a show that they do together,it's bad ass

Oysterhead is easily one of the best bands out there, even though they don't jam any more much or make new albums. They are easily better than Phish ( Trey's in that band to if anyone did'nt know that). When your trippin it is the best music to listen to. And they just have te chemistry of a great jam band. If any one doesn't have The Grand Pecking Order ( the bands first and only album) GET IT! Its only about ten bucks for the best music you will ever hear. Or just download it. I wish Oysterhead would do a follow up but since Phish is back out of their break, it doesn't look so good. Peace, and enjoy the tunes.

Dude...your crazy...yeah oysterhead is good...but they cant touch phish....theres no keys...how can you say something is better than phish for trippin'...its imnpossible...piano completes the sound...you can tell the whole time that, that is what its missing piano...Phish is better. but oysterhead kicks some ass

im a bass player, so i think that oysterhead is "better" just for les. when i say that i mean its what I enjoy more. i suppose a piano player would like phish. i don't think keys are really needed in oysterhead because the rythem section is just so tight. copeland (formerly of police fame) also played and produces a couple tracks on Antipop, Primus' second latest release. so you know they like playing together. oh ya, ive got this live disk that has keys on it, but it's mainly triped out moog effects. i like oysterhead because its three (kick ass) musicians that didn't have to make any compromises to be able to play together. they all do their own thing and it creates a great jam atmosphere. one of my bands holds oysterhead as the main infuence, only we suck compaired to those guys. but what do you expect.
