Wow... OutKast... I agree with everything that has been said, except that barely any of you jokers have a clue what you are talking about. But before I get started I have to inform you wannabe OutKast fans about Big Boi's latest appearence. He is now in a song called "Flip Flop Rock" feat. Jay-Z. If you kids even want to question me about OutKast you will lose.

Outkast is tyte for real. I wrote a song to the beat of Da art of Storytelling because when I heard Andre's verse I almost cried. I got inspired and wrote an anti racism song that people from my town bump in they cars. They music chillin music, honest to god feel good music, you know. It's wild. But we as fans like to thank that they shit don't stank, but they rose really smell like Poo Poo...buy the new one.

>>By J-Trigga   (Tuesday, 14 Oct 2003 12:14)

i have them on video & they are in a class all by themselves; The good music videos like the new ones especially & unforgetable live performances. They seem to be getting better & better.

I just bought the new Love below/Speakerboxxx-album and it's amazing! The way they seperate each others styles is interesting. I thought i would like Big Bois disc more, coz' it represents pretty much same stuff ya'll heard in Stankonia-album, but i gotta admit, André's disc beats the shit out of it! Even though he's CD sounds more like Jazz/Triphop kinda thing, it kicks ass! It really cheers ya up, when ya listen the Hey Ya! - song. But all respect to Big Boi; You made a great CD too!

>>By Chromez   (Thursday, 23 Oct 2003 19:00)

Since outkast has blown up their style has changed a lot, but what seperates them from most of the mainstream crap that gets put out nowadays is that the quality of the music is still great even though they blew up and they could have put out any half assed album and still sell a lot of cd's cuz they have already made a name for themselves and have a big fan base. But i gotta hand it to these guys they still made good quality music even though they blew up.

Im mostly into underground hip hop cuz in most mainstream songs, the lyrics are not put together very intelligently along with the lyrics themselves not being very intelligent. The lyrics are usually all pretty much the same shit, its all about making party music and club beats these days with mainstream hip hop.

I personally think ATLiens and Aquemini are their best albums, i like their old school shit the best, but the new stuff isnt bad even though they are huge now. Props to these guys for keepin it real and not falling off like most mainstream artists.

Outkast is a great band!! I love there new songs " Hey Ya" and " The way you move " or whatever its called lol. Yeah I like them!

>>By Jane   (Sunday, 1 Feb 2004 01:21)

Good words, Deltron. This is true, it always scares the shit out of you when a band you like starts getting mainstream radio play, but outkast has kept up the good work. I still cringe when I hear the songs Jane mentioned tho.

>>By Distrust   (Monday, 2 Feb 2004 21:54)

hey ya is my all time favorite song!!! i have this outfit that the tank top says hey ya and the pants are really cute and they say shake it shake it accross the ass and i wear it when i go clubbing so i can "shake it like a polaroid picture" in style!!!!!

>>By sarabeth6972   (Tuesday, 25 May 2004 15:01)

Aarghh, this is truly the suckiest band ever. I hate Outkast more than anything else... what is it you fans like about them? They have no rhythm and the lyrics are really bad.

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Tuesday, 25 May 2004 17:06)

Outkast, they're ok..they have some good beats and all, but sometimes the lyrics r too gross. I like them but i wouldn't go out and buy their cd....i like them because they're not like every other hip-hop band out there and they dont limit themselves to just hip-hop, they experience with other sounds and types of muzak and they dont talk about Bitches and Hoes, and how to slap ur bitch up....so yeah they're better than most other bands out there. and they're ok....☻

>>By Box Trapped   (Thursday, 27 May 2004 21:40)

hey ya all...good song right........correct.....

none of the other are unfortunately....

>>By HY -   (Friday, 28 May 2004 23:02)

Anyone who thinks Outkast are original is totally deluded. Hey Ya is a complete rip-off of Dosed by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Listen to it - it's so obvious!

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Sunday, 30 May 2004 23:11)

i think that as outkast started as a joint endeavor it should end in much the same way. i DO appreciate the fatc that they were'nt playing the role of the money-hungry corporate american music thugs by releasing speakerboxx/the love below as two seperate discs at roughly 20 dollars a piece, but they still sounded better when they were running off of each other's vibes than when they tried to break the mold yet again. it's good to be progressive, but you don't want to totally outrun your fans...nor do you want to have to start all over again in building a fanbase soley for the fact that you sound nothing like you used to. but it's the way of the world to grow and reinvent itself, so i can't blame outkast for being human. i just have no intentions on budging from the opinion that outkast sounded better when the group still operated as a group and not like NBA allstars who happen to be on the same team but work independantly of each other in an attempt to pursue their vainglorious aspirations of superstardom. we already have one madonna guys, thanks for the offer.

>>By orc   (Sunday, 30 May 2004 23:52)

What are you on about? Outkast are a total rip-off and they suck anyway. They're only enjoyable song is Hey Ya and besides being completely unoriginal, it's an utterly meaningless song! How pointless are this band?

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Monday, 31 May 2004 14:26)

Sk8a H8a, with all respect, how can you say Outkast is "un-original"? Have you listened there albums at all? They evolve, musically and lyrically with every album. Like in the debut album of this group, there was actually "jazz-vibe" in the music, guitar solos and alot of elements, that hiphop didn't have in mid 90's. Second album was totally different from the first one, increasing the musical elemnts. Same thing happened with the thrid and the latest album. Outkast is not repetitive. They are lyrically and musically one of the finest hiphop-groups ever.

But if you really think that way, then there's nothing i can do about it. Just hoping you could see and realize the talent in Big Boi and André.

>>By T.Montana   (Thursday, 17 Mar 2005 17:39)

I was just thinking about bands I hate and of course Outkast make number 1...
Evolution is not the same as originality, T.Montana - just means they're copying some new "influences"

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Saturday, 19 Mar 2005 22:33)

And they're certainly talented in the field of being extremely annoying... I just read this post:

Good words, Deltron. This is true, it always scares the shit out of you when a band you like starts getting mainstream radio play, but outkast has kept up the good work. I still cringe when I hear the songs Jane mentioned tho.

>>By Distrust (Monday, 2 Feb 2004 21:54)

Made me think: "Maybe the songs I haven't heard are actually good..." However, the songs I HAVE heard are really sucky, so I'm not about to give them a second chance - if they want the world to appreciate their music properly, they shouldn't release rubbish like Roses and Hey Ya! I hate the way bands who supposedly have really good songs release all of the suckiest ones

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Saturday, 19 Mar 2005 22:38)

Southernplayalisticadillacmuizik. ATLiens, basically Outkast's older stuff is soooo amazing.
