These boys are just magical. Head and shoulders above any other electronic act in my opinion. Also one of the most exciting live acts about.

Hey Cereal, if you ever read this, I think they had a singer come in and they might have used samples of her voice in their studio. They are amazing.

Orbital is awesome, and they pwn j00. Can someone help me find out what that girl says in, "Funny Break (One Is Enough)"?

I'm not 100% sure, but I know it's real vocals, as opposed to imitation vocals like on "Sad But True". I can only make out snatches, though, and I think it's better than way.

Hi, I'm new here, just though I'd answer a question for you :-) The Halcyon +on+on vocal is sampled from a 1992 track called "It's a Fine Day", a one off single by Opus 3 (3 sound engineers the names of which escape me). It's an exellent, and timeless track. Kirsty Hawkshaw is the vocalist. I believe she sang the lyrics, while she was at school without any backing, years before. These 3 engineers must have simply come accross them and created this track for them.
Phil & Paul Hartnoll wanted to use the lyrics for their Brown album but they weren't allowed for legal reasons etc. They were allowed however to use the B-sides lyrics which they sampled and manipulated somewhat, and hense, Halcyon was born! Hope this helps.
