I'm From Venezuela and since i can remember i've always been fan of film music, but the only music that take me to another level is the music of Elfman, when i heard that he was on a rock band, i tought it must be the wildest thing ever to appear on the face of the earth....And I was right, now i'm i think the biggest Venezuelan fan of Oingo Boingo not to mention the only one!!!!!

"Say Hello Insanity!"

I am a life long boingo fan since high school . I only got to see them in concert once back in '86.
I recently discovered a boingo tribe band playing around town and they do a very faithfull imitation.
Now I am a resurrected fan who still loves Boingo. May their legacy never die.

OINGO BOINGO AND THE CURE ARE THE BEST BANDS EVER!
ELFMAN IS A GENIOUS

*ahem* I beat you ALL in the contest for youngest boingo fan (I'm sure there's younger, who can resist danny elfman....) I'm 14 years old...WOO!!

By the way, people looking for oingo boingo mp3's (although you should go out and buy the Cds, but I understand, I can't dish out $20 for a CD everytime I want one...) Just download Kazaa (kazaa.net) and search for boingo...you'll find like millions and millions of mp3's....rare stuff too.

hi im trying to find out more about the album where they made that song good for your soul its my farovite one

I've loved Danny Elfman since I was eight, I am now 23 and things haven't changed, however, last year I discovered Oingo Boingo. I don't know how I missed them (being obsessed with the eighties, seeing as I grew up during them), I always knew Weird Science, and Dead Man's Party, but for some reason never investigated further. I was an easy convert though, I've been obsessed with Danny's film music since before I knew it was his. Have to admit though, Little Girls hit a little too close to home for me.

Boingo's friggin' AWESOME. i must admit, i'm a very young, very new fan, being 12 and getting into them only last year, but all the same i love their music! i especially love the Dark at the End of the Tunnel album, obsessed with Is This! i'd always liked Danny's work, i knew of him as a composer before a rocker, and a friend of mine dragged me into her music-life, introduced me to Boingo, discoverd Elfman was their front-man, so i gave it a shot, and now i love it, and i'm driving her up the wall about it(she's no longer as big a fan as she once was)!
it really sucks that they broke up so soon. i'll never see them in concert, dammit! i was five when they said Toodles to the world, i didn't even know they existed! ah well. seeing the videos will be a reminiscence, i suppose.;)

Top bands of the 70's-80's:
Oingo Boingo
Queen(LOVE THEM)
Strawberry Alarm clock(anyone heard of them?)
the Alan Parson's Project
Cream
Iron Butterfly
the Doors

and that's all i can think of right now.:)

Cheers!

Oingo Boingo is my fav band. If Bridget and Danny ever get devorced I want to marry him. Yes I am only 15 but I cann't listen to anything but Oingo Boingo I have 8 of there cd's, "The Nighmare Before Christmas" soundtrack signed by Danny Elfman, the "Forbidden Zone" soundtracked and the movie, plus two magazines from "Good Times" in N.Y. with OIngo Boingo on the cover from 94 and 97, and to add a hole bunch of movies that Danny Elfman did the scores for.. When I try to listen to something else like Soft Cell, The Cure or Love and Rockets I cann't even stand it for more than a few hours because they don't sound as good. I dream about Danny Elfman all the time. My friends tell me that if the got 5 cents for every time I talk about Oingo Boingo or Danny Elfman they would be rich in a day. I really hope they have a reunion concert so I could say I have seen the best band in the world at least once. If anyone loves Oingo Boingo or Danny Elfman or wants to sell anything of them you can e-mail me at danny_elfmans_little_girl@yahoo.com

check out the movie "Forbidden Zone".. Just re-released on DVD not too long ago. Still hard to find. Danny Elfmans' brother directed it. it's basically a movie about the mistic knights. great cult classic.

>>By jimakane   (Wednesday, 15 Dec 2004 22:08)
