Hello everyone,
I've been listening to My Bloody Valentine and Joy Division almost exclusively for some time now, and now that I'm thoroughly saturated in my current collection, I would faint if I could get ahold of the above mentioned videos. If anyone still has those, my email is
Oh by the way, I was in Athens, Georgia not too long ago for this crappy Interpol show, and the record store adjacent to the 40 watt club had a couple of live shows on video. If they still have those next time I show up in Athens, maybe I can copy some for other fans.

If anyone would like to send me any of those videos, I'd be very grateful. My Bloody Valentine are one of my all time favourite bands so.. yeah.

Tremolo E.P is great by MBV

>>By Americunt   (Tuesday, 24 Jun 2003 00:23)

Everything can be imitated, a guitar sound, a vocal line, a lyrical style but no one has ever walked on the same path as MBV.
Kevin wake up!

>>By j-lo chef   (Wednesday, 15 Oct 2003 21:46)

There are some MBV videos available for download on Two from Loveless and two from Isn't Anything, if I remember correctly. I believe that's also their official site. I got the video for Feed Me With Your Kiss. It's fantastic.

Music that needs to be very loud.

If you can get in their noisy discordant headspace and find the heart of darkness, you too will experience an eargasm.

Jaw-dropping live, especially You Made Me Realise. Which is one of the finest pieces of music ever made.

The fact that they nearly bankrupted Creation in making Loveless, and therefore halted oasis' career, only adds to their greatness

>>By defacer   (Friday, 2 Sep 2005 18:33)

Huh. I'm amazed nothing got resurrected about MBV when they announced that they're touring this Fall. Anyone seeing them upstate or in NYC this September?

>>By 718lily   (Sunday, 15 Jun 2008 21:23)

Ive just been to see them in Manchester and Im still struggling to hear anything now (they gave out free ear plugs.....bloody health and safety).

They were abit rusty in parts, but when they got it right it was excellent and back on old form (all 30 odd mins of you made me realise!!) No other band makes the noises they do, and like the best bands they dont pander to the corporate dollar and create their own path. Lets hope they come and save 'indie' music with some new material.

>>By defacer   (Monday, 30 Jun 2008 19:45)

718lily .. I'm seeing them at ATP. May try to get a Roseland tic too although that's a very busy week for bands and recovery from ATP all nighters. I first saw them in a little club in northern England in 1989 and they were great. They had this shambling, youthful support band called the Smashing Pumpkins. Anyone checked out Ulrich Schnauss?
