my opinions: (who cares)
1. danzig has a napoleon complex, and IS a cock.
2. despite being a cock, he is one of my idols, not just for having a great voice.
3. the newfits would be a lot cooler if they called themselves anything else.
4. i am massively hyped for project 1950.
5. jerry only is the last true misfits in the band.
this is all very sad. punk died that fatefull night (the night of my birth, even. spooky,,,)

I WISH THE MISFITS WOULD EITHER QUITE OR CHANGE THEIR NAME SO THEY DONT GET CONFUSED WITH THE REAL MISFITS, IN THE TIME WHERE MICHALE GRAVES WAS UNKNOWN. I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH FARTHER JERRYS HAIR LINE HAS TO GO BEFORE HE REALISES THE DEVIL LOCK JUST DOESNT WORK FOR HIM ANYMORE. AND I AM NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO JERRY SELLING A LINE OF HIS BASSES. If one of these new age Mtv bands sounded even half as good as the original misfits i would frequent everyone of their concerts. The newfits are all right i guess but it kinda sounds like a backstreet boy singing death rock. The original misfits will always be the greatest and most original band of all time... There sound and lyrics were way ahead of there time and danzig has the best voice in the history of rock n roll (and yes i am including elvis). By the way the song Last Caress makes my girlfriends panties sopping wet...Fuck Metallica those nazi sell outs they wish they could sing that song like the fismits.

wow. i really love the misfits, they're my favorite fucking band ever!!! Danzig is a fuckin awesome singer. although graves is really good too. I love old misfits cause the singign is fucking great. i hate the fact that danzig left. But the misfits with graves were awesome too. i love the misfits!!

Overall the Misfits are great. Glenn Danzigs voice is awesome, but Michael Graves has a great voice too. His voice sounds fucking awesome in the song "Scream". But Glenn Danzig is definitely a great singer.

The misfits are one of those classic punk rock bands no matter wut ne one says they kick ass they are so sweet they have to be one of my favorite bands they are so sweet but alk3 is still the best but thats not the point

I was actually going to meet the Misfits tomorrow in New York City when i suddenly have no way to get there. They were going to autograph copies of Project 1950 and then perform live at the Virgin Megastore in Times Square. But i cant go now :(

some funny things about the misfits:
bobby steele was forced out because he wanted 2 cheeseburgers, or was it manny?
manny and danzig had a band before the misfits called Whodat and Boojang
the original misfits got in a fight with motley crue in hollywood, and chased them down hollywood bolevard.
although jerry only's hairline is receding, he still looks awesome with the devilock, I wish I was around on that faithful day in 1976 when they were formed, and went to Lodi highschool and hung out with Glenn and Paul and Jerry, who knows I could have ended up being the original drummer.

I think that the misfits are'nt as good without glenn danzig. He was what made the misfits a good band.

danzig was better off with the misfits... he has a great voice yes, but alone, I think he sucks. and the 'fits yeah, they are good, but, M. graves could do better. Jerry's pretty fucking cool. But no matter what, the misfits, are always one of my favorite bands

I briefly described in my profile how much I idolize and look up to the Misfits, throughout all the stages of their band. I'm dying to meet Jerry Only, anyone have any contact info? lol. He is the soul of this band in my opinion and I'd like to meet with this musical genius. I saw Misfits in concert last summer, and though its new Misfits it was great because the new Misfits consists of Marky Ramone and The Ramones are the other greatest punk band of all time.

i love the misfits up until danzig left. . .
and people don't seem to ever point out that in all honestly. . .the misfits aren't a very musically talented band. . .they have gotten so far on mostly their awesome dynamic. . .
and not everything danzig has done since is entirely bad. . .samhain was very good. . .and i wish danzig would have stuck with music like the misfits or samhain. . .instead of becoming the demonic buttrocker of the universe. . .
but back to the misfits. . .'attitude', 'angelfuck', and 'all hell breaks loose' are some of my favorite songs. . .so so good. . .

Man, people really judge misfits all wrong these days...misfits were not better when they were known as the misfits...i feel that you are misjudging there true talentness in this whole situation i mean you dont really have to worry bout michael anymore hes gone...just marky dez and jerry...but i think michael was a wakeup call for misfits....i mean michael did so good with the song scream it was amamzing. how can you sit there and say you idolize glenn...i dont see how anyone could idolize glenn..no way, I really think that the new misfits (with Michael) was and is still a lot better than static age misfits or just simply the misfits. Kinda sad that michael left, i guess graves had it coming though he got pretty mad.
