What a kick ass band!!!!!! , Meshuggah is one of the best metal - progressive bands , I've got almost all of their albums...Chaosphere is so fucking heavy!!! ,but "Contradictions collapse" is my favourite!

Bye MEshuggah fans
Disaster , from Chile , Southamerica

>>By Disaster   (Friday, 7 Feb 2003 01:53)

I think destroy erase improve is the best allround album, chaosphere was a little rushed, nothing is an amazing album but lacks a little brutallity

>>By frog   (Wednesday, 19 Feb 2003 22:39)

Definiltly the best Meshuggah lp is None, pakaged with contadictiions
collaspse, it makes a great buy. I beleive, if your a new Meshugga fan, than this
is the one too get, because you will appreciate the pure experimental
genuis of Chaosphere and Nothing. But Destroy Erase Improve is equally as good as
CC and N. Gods of Rature ( the last song on CC and N), and Future
Breed Machine (Destroy, Erase, Improve), are easily two of the best Metal
songs of all time. Spread the gospil of Meshuggah.

Meshuggah is the most kick ass under-rated talented balls to the wall metal band in the history of heavy metal!!! Fuck Metallica, these guys are the real deal and are simply the best and even if you don't like their music you must give them props on how they make such unique original heavy music........Destroy Erase Improve is my favorite and a classic genius work of art.........Chaosphere comes in a close second, and is the most heavy cd ever bar none.........Nothing is in a league of it's own right now.......I mean c'mon, 8-string guitars are un-heard of...........I could write 5 pages on how kick ass Meshuggah is but I'll spare you people a 5 page essay.........PS - Tomas Haake is an un-human cyborg from another planet, I swear!!!!!!!

>>By Gspot Thriller Daddy   (Tuesday, 25 Mar 2003 03:26)

I discover the band a few months ago, although IĀ“ve heared about them a lot of times. How I could be without hearing them? Possibly one of the most underrated bands in metal. The impact to me was similar of hearing "Demanufacture" for the first time, but a million times harder. If anybody reads this and likes metal, this is a must-to. Pure genius!!

>>By fajoivan   (Friday, 4 Apr 2003 19:09)

>>By gspotthrilla   (Friday, 25 Jul 2003 21:32)

Definitely, Meshuggah has created their own style. It is an exquisite blend of radical metal, fusion, a bit of jazz, avant-gard, etc.,and it is their own way of showing a work (which is none of this planet) technically unbelievable and original. it is quite difficult to give an opinion of meshuggah's music without having listened to it once, twice, three times, over and over again, trying to figure out meshuggah's complex message.

No comments for meshuggah`s drummer. His hands speak for himself.
I`d pay in gold to see their show, though i don`t think they are coming to my country.
I`m from Chile.

fuck man, i cant find any meshuggah fans around here, everyones a musical retard. anyway, i dont know if you guys noticed this, but meshuggah is like a musical optical illusion. Listen to a meshuggah song of DEI or Chaosphere and notice that they take a simple riff consisting of 2, 3 or 4 notes and simply REPEAT it with a quarter or an eigth rest in between and each time the riff is played it makes a different sound just by its position in the rhythm. I shit you not, you dont notice this when you listen but after repeated observations you notice their music is all INGENIOUS patterns. GOD DAMN HOW DO THEY DO THIS. you know meshuggah gives me hope, whenever i listen to them it helps reasure me that this world is not completely full of idiots, conformists and shallow minded individuals. Thank you Tomas, if you read this i was the guy outside at the PALACE show in hollywood in may. That was the greatest night of my life. thank you.

one more thing, and any drummer will understand this. Learning how to play anything Haake has ever written is enlightening and NOTHING less than a musical epiphany. thank you.

*I still can't comprehend how the fuck Haake wrote/plays parts of tranfixion.
