First of all, by virtue of your assinine statement "if it wasnt for the front man jorge the rest of that band would be lost." tells us you know nothing about music and don't know anyone in the band on a personal level. I have played with Rick in bands for over 18 years and I used to roadie for merauder. I've witnessed first hand the pain and suffering my fellow musicians have gone through because of the industry and ignorant people such as yourself. If you only knew the amount of self sacrifice Rick has made on behalf of his bandmates you would sing a different tune. And to say that someone is from or not from a scene tells us that you have no idea what a scene is. Being a criminal and living on the bowery is not a scene. Get a job and get a clue.

Hey Rick just got your statement !!!!I've been an enjoyer of Merauder even since Minus was in there ....The change you've made was the right one there,music-wise ,you know!It's cool when you can look back at your life or career with pride on what you've accomplished.These days i've parted away from the hardcore and metal scene .....but for some reason....and i am not bullshittin' ya....one of the only bands i still listen AND very much enjoy is Merauder.From my point of view i think Bluetality grabs really back to the Master killer cd.A band is like a marriage or relation except there are more people involved and like any relation you have good years but you also have some bad years , and i think when you can overcome things like this you always come out stronger as a band OR as a person.For a talented guy like you don't let your dreams fade away.Maybe you can pick up the pieces and go on or even start a new band , because from what i can read in your letter ....there is plenty of ambition an good music in your head !!!!

I'm Jadran from Antwerp , Belgium ( Belgiums biggest Merauder fan
) and I just read your mail on the discussion forum. After 12 years it
indeed has got to be fuckin hard to stop with your band , its like a
relationship that breaks and that brings some serious feelings with it,
I suggest to join another band that makes you forget your pain ... wait for the
right moment and replace a bassplayer in another band . re-uniting
Merauder would be also great asspecialy for me and the M-fans from allover
the world , Or maybe just a farewell tour that would be major , ( I promis
I'll try not to cry when you guys playin Masterkiller)
I'm sure you'll find your way ,find the right people that have the same
attitude as you got and take a new start .
I'm realy interested in the pictures you 've got , if you have some spare

Past 3 years it has been a real bad time for the hardcore and metal scene
here in Belgium , Hip-Hop ,R'nB ..etc are taking it all over . The last 6months
there's back some hope , some new bands are popping out and there are some
more gigs. still got to search hard to find a real heavy pit . How's the
hardcore and metal scene doing in NY ?
In Belgium people still talk about Merauder and that legendary
Masterkiller cd. The only band ever that could canalize Martial Arts into
killermusic .
I'm sure you'll find your way , keep it evil .

I'm going to make this short. Merauder is in the process of auditioning singers and drummers. Yep you read right, singers and drummers. Can you fill these big shoes?? It's still the same style of music but heaviver . We are currently writing a new album and looking to make a big comeback. Stronger and better than ever. We are an established act with a worldwide fanbase as well as having a secured spot in the music scene.
One door closes a bigger one opens.......

Hey i just wanna say i have the ut most respect for the bands members. I have followed them from day one. And not to sound fucked up but i have NEVER heard of any of them having children, so i have no fucking clue what that chick is talking about. So shes needs to stop putting people down because she never got what she wanted out of life. And Rick shes is probably saying this shit to get you pissed off. So just dont pay any attention. One other thing before i close this chick if u have a child and ur child has not seen his or her dad thats no-ones fault but ur own.
