What to you think about the greatest hits album? I think it's absolutly brilliant

>>By Suicide Alley   (Tuesday, 12 Nov 2002 23:30)

Manics are the best band in the WORLD!!!!! and i like the new stuff but the old is the best!!!

>>By UK Channel Boredem   (Thursday, 14 Nov 2002 15:32)

I have to say that manics truly are amazing, and i agree that their older stuff is far beter. Mostly the stuff wrote by richey as his lyrics f*cking rule!
I also have to say that 'The Holy Bible' was the best album, and '4st 7lbs' is the best song ever!! woo!! I LOVE RICHEY!
Anyway, does anyone have the bootleg/demo CD 'Lipstick traces'?
I bought it and its great! Razorblade beats, and an coustic of little baby nothing. perfect! nd methadone pretty, lots more too.

Helped me through some very hard times...can hardly listen to "life becoming a landslide" them more than anything. Richey has a special place in my heart, always and forever. There is something so special about him that´s impossible to describe...i´m glad i found them and their music anyway. Thank you.

I hate the manics, but owing to band democracy, have to learn you love us. Bastards.

i've liked the manics since 1994! they are the best band ever! james dean bradfield is ssssooooo fit he's georgeous! my fave album has got to be 'the holy bible' and 'gold against the soul!' ive seen the manics 13 times so far... and they are so wicked live. my fave concert ive seen them play is in manchester may 1997 and new years eve 1999/2000 at cardiff millenuim staduim. they blew me away with there performance. im going to see them again at the 'move' concert at lancashire cricket ground on the 11th july 2003....can't wait! manics we love you! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx lozza xxxxxxx

>>By lozzax   (Saturday, 26 Apr 2003 22:04)

my favourite album is generation terrorists but the others are not far behind! i love little baby nothing coz it has many happy not as keen on the new stuff like door to the river but they are still my favourite band ever! ive only seen them three times! i need to see them more!!

>>By Dead End Doll   (Thursday, 8 May 2003 11:02)

I used to love this band, until they turned into a boring bunch of sods.

>>By Curmudgeon   (Wednesday, 21 May 2003 20:36)

James has to be the best vocalist. His voice is simply brilliant. Nicky writes the most intelligent lyrics and Sean is a fantastic drummer. The Manics are the best band in the world!!!!!!!

>>By manicflower   (Sunday, 22 Jun 2003 14:55)

at first James' voice reminded me a little of Dennis DeYoung from Styx who I hate so I had to get over that but after listening to Faster off the Holy Bible I was sold. I really like them a lot now and I cant believe how metal they used to be and thats not a bad thing if its done well (which is rare) Amazing band I've seen them once in Chicago at the Metro.

Loving the new Manic's tune. Nice one.

>>By Fairy   (Thursday, 24 Jul 2003 16:47)

My Sweet Lord!!! I can't believe no-one has talked about the Manics in this long. Obviously there ain't many fans of them on here or there ain't many people who've copped any of their stuff, & if you haven't I strongly recommend that you do! One of the greatest rock n' roll stories ever told, THESE GUYS MET WITH FIDEL CASTRO FOR FUCKS SAKE!!!! And not to forget that they play tighter than the best of them. Even if you go & buy their greatest hits (you'd miss out on some great tracks from other albums) check them out! And Richey, if you're reading this, pick us 20 Lambert & Butler up from the offy on your way home!

>>By BEN HOLLYWOOD   (Tuesday, 17 Feb 2004 19:22)

Let's face it, the music ranges from the abhorrent to the sublime but I'll always fall for the lyrics

>>By thom   (Thursday, 9 Sep 2004 21:36)

The Holy Bible is their best, anything after (damn I forgot his name) disappeared is just crap. <<Archives of Pain>> I love that solo :)

>>By Tchock   (Thursday, 9 Sep 2004 22:24)

I agree, Tchock, the manics just ain't the same anymore but for god's sake his name is Richey Edwards! and now don't dare to forget it anymore!
