We just played SD with 999 - it was a Wednesday nite, but plenty of the ol' familiar faces were there... We have a local show coming up on July 4th - see our 'upcoming gigs' site - it's been up for 10 years, and I'll post it as soon as joey fills me in with the details...

Oh yea the Adicts fucking suck. I never liked them before the shit went down and I still don't like them. They aren't the fucking Clash, they aren't Operation Ivy, they aren't Crass, my point being they are not some band with brilliant lyrics or something orignal to offer even back then when they first formed. They were like said a Ramones rip off band in sound and fucking if they didn't dress up and look the way they did there shit would never stand. So fuck the Adicts and most of all fuck Pete.

Why would a band who bad mouths their record label owner (and yes I was there when you did it Joey) go on bad mouthing a band (The Skulls), who have wrote better songs in their last 2 albums then MP has written in their whole career. The Doc has put far more into you guys then he should have. It's too bad that he doesn't know how much of ingreats you guys are. Their is too much dirt on your shitty band to go on messing around. Drop the ego shit. Badmouthing great bands like the Adicts and the Skulls won't help you sell more records. I can't believe you are even on the same record label that has worked with such great bands as the Bollweevils, Rythm Collision, and the Skulls. Get a clue losers.
And yes...the Stitches played after you guys at the Cock Sparrer show because they are better looking.

Back in those days, the cool shows to go to were the ones that MP played. Hell I even saw them with the Adicts and Toy Dolls in '86. Enough status to have an ego, aye mate? Hey I picked up a Destroy all today and some kid picked your new CD as his CD of the month. Went on to say you guys are a way underated band and deserve a lot more attention and recognition than you guys get. And He rated your CD an A-. I just thought I would share some nice info with all the bullshit and drama going on these days. All this high school drama it has to make you laugh. Anyways Mad Parade rocks. Fucking the new album rocks. I've talked to Bill and sooner or later my band Not A Chance is going to take a stab at covering "The Night is ours forever". That is a kick ass fucking song. And it's too bad Mad Parade doesn't play it. Anyways good luck on your up comming shows hope we can play one with ya guys peace and keep fighting for what you guys love...rock and roll.

A few months ago I saw Mad Parade at The Echo in LA for the first time since the early '80s, before they even had a record. They were as good as ever--maybe better. Very cool to see them still cranking out what is now old school punk rock.
