Hey,
Do any of u people out therel ove jazz? Have u heard of Louis Armstrong? In my opinion he was the einstein of jazz and blues. Not only was his voice intreaging, but his lyrics, and the way his music had nothing to do with the vulgar types of music we listen to today. Have u noticed that NOTHING bad was ever said about Louis Armstrong? If u look at any other musician that the teenagers of our time are listening to, mot of them have some bad news spread about them. So in this sense, Loui is the perfect roll model for aspiring musicians, and also the everyday person. I have all the songs he has ever made i think , and i hope to eventualy have a lhall in my fture house designated to Louis, and all my favorite artists. If u have any information of the films that Louis has acted in, please let me know. Lata

I have a question...does anyone have a list of all the songs Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong did together, because I found a song on Kazaa and it was called "It Had To Be You"...well that's not it...but the catch line is "..you're on the right track for learning the blues...". If anyone has any ideas what the name of the song is please email me at pinkchevelle@msn.com

Dear friends,
Please read this message if uou want really to hear 2 of the best songs of Louis, I Will Wait For You + Sunrise Sunset, songs that are really much better than What A Wonderful World bun noone knows them!
i am a journalist in greece who is specialised in jazz music and of course in Louis Armstrong.
I have a request to make, because i am a collector of louis armstrong's music.
From my search in Athens, Greece and in the Internet i have discovered that there are several songs of Louis Armstrong which do not exist in cd. Of course, there are some vinyl records, but it is so difficult to find them.
SO, I WOULD LIKE FROM ANY COMPANY - LIKE SONY, VERVE, OR BMG - TO MAKE A REISUE OF THESE SONGS WHICH ARE ONLY IN VINYL RECORDS.
the titles of the songs are
I WILL WAIT FOR YOU
SUNRISE, SUNSET
SO LONG DEARIE
LONESOME MAN BLUES (DUET LOUIS AND FRANK SINATRA)!!!
BE MY LIFE'S COMPANION
ROSIE
HEY, LOOK ME OVER
PLEASE, GIVE US ON CD THE SONGS OF LOUIS ARNSTRONG WHICH ARE NOW ONLY IN VINYL, ESPECIALLY "SUNRISE SUNSET" AND "'I WILL WAIT FOR YOU".

I WILL GIVE YOU MORE DETAILS, IN CASE YOU ARE INTERESTED ABOUT MY REMARKS, AND I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I MEAN. IF NOT, CONTACT louisarmstronggr@yahoo.gr

I express a request from the heart of all simple admirors of Louis Armstrong since you happen to have the rights of the songs that LOUIS ARMSTRONG has recorded.
My request is to collect the unknown masterpieces of Satchmo. Now the question is which are these unknown songs.Let me give an example.I have found in some cds that i have - mainly collections - songs of Louis that are seperate from the others and that i don't know where do they come from, i mean which is the prototype album where they belong. An example: there is a song called ''otchi-tchor-ni-ya''. Noone knows if there is another seperate cd or vinyl album of Satchmo containing this song. And i wonder if there are plus other unknown songs of Armstrong in all these seperate collections. How can we learn about them? Another example: i recently found a vinyl disc with the songs ''sunrise sunset'', ''i will wait for you'',''rosie'', ''the gypsy in my soul''. So, please make these songs on cd! The companies - believe me - will earn a lot! Another example: the songs ''sittin in the sun'', ''it takes two to tango'', ''kiss of fire'', ''the dummy song'', ''sincerely'', ''georgia on my mind'' etc. WHERE IS ALL THIS TREASURES HIDDEN? Just think that if SONY has the copyright, each of these songs - if they belong to old vinyl albums of Louis Armstrong - must have three or four i guess songs that we ignore.
Another example: there are songs of Louis Armstrong from movies.I myself only know about ''when the red red robbin comes bob, bob, bobbing along'' and ''Moments to remember'' .ARE THERE ANY OTHER MASTERPIECES THAT WE ARE KEPT AWAY FROM? please if someone can follow my thoughts and is able to collect these songs, please give them in public.THIS IS WHAT LOUIS WOULD LIKE - HE WOULD GIVE AWAY EVERY COPYRIGHT AND HE WOULD SAY ''F...K THAT ****;GIVE MY SONGS TO THE AUDIENCE'' and i assure all of you that he wouldn't care for the earnings ; it would be free!

I HAVE FOUND A NEW UNKNOWN SONG OF LOUIS ARMSTRONG. IT IS CALLED W I L K O M M E N !

It comes from the movie CABARET. Does anyone knows this song? It is together with I WILL WAIT FOR YOU + SUNRISE SUNSET.

Are there on any cd? please email me.

do you know that Louis has sung YOU 'LL NEVER WALK ALONE? IN PARIS 1965. BUT IT IS NOT ON CD. THEY HAVE MADE ONLY A PART OF IT ON CD. SO, PLEASE MAKE IT ON CD.

I AM NOT REFERRING TO THE INSTRUMENTAL VERSION BUT IN THE VOCAL VERSION!!!

yes! the song YOU LL NEVER WALK ALONE exists with VOCAL of Louis Armstrong!

it is in a vinyl disc that i have from the concert of Louis Armstrong in Paris in 1965!

it begins with Louis saying I HAVE A LITTLE MESSAGE FOR YOU and then, oh my god what a voice: for the first time, Louis sings this song perfectly.
and in the end, he asks the audience LETS ALL SING WITH ME!!!

i just say to you that you must have it on cd!

THERE ARE SOME INCREDIBLE SONGS OF A DUET BY LOUIS ARMSTRONG AND BING CROSBY.

lets sing like a dixieland band
preacher
at the jazz band ball
dardanella
+ others

WHY NOT ON CD?
