i just heard their music 4 days ago,and they rock!!! theyve instantly turned into one of my fav bands,u dont hear music like that in U.S..it beats out american rock.christina has an extrodinary voice ,some of the songs have great melodys and theyre emotional too with a hint of a medival tune in rock,great mixture.

I've never seen them live, but I find their music amazing.
I don't think Andrea speaks english, however, seeing as he really doesn't sing that much english on "Unleashed Memories." Maybe not, though.

Todo lo que diga sobre lacuna Coil es poco, verdaderamente no hay palabras suficientes para describir tanta grandeza. No sé que es lo que tienen, pero es uno de esos grupos que cuando lo escuchas ya no te puedes desenganchar, es la elegancia, la fantasía, la nostalgia, todo lo que puedas imaginar hecho música.
Mi admiración y mi apoyo para ellos, desde el principio y hasta el final, siempre Lacuna Coil.

I'm sorry, but I feel Lacuna do sound like Evanescence. They're both in the Glam Goth sort of category, though Evanescence are quite a bit lighter. And not as good.

Great band, Cold Heritage in particular is amazing.
As for Lillo, in my opinion she is the most beautiful human being I have ever set eyes on. I remember when I saw them live, everything around me kind of faded away, and I was just...transfixed by Cristina. She's so graceful and perfect, and her voice just washes over you like water. I don't care if I sound like a freak, it's the truth.

Lacuna Coil is amazing. I only heard about them a few months ago, and I've only heard the songs Comalies and To Myself I Turned, but I already like them alot.
I haven't heard them live, but that's ok. I'm not allowed to go to concerts anyway, especially not metal concerts.
Undertone, I'm not an expert, but I do agree with you there. Lacuna Coil sound a lot better than Evanescence...and sometimes Amy Lee can sound like a drowning cat...but she's a lot stronger on soprano notes from what I've heard of each band's songs.

God damn. Why do people always compare Evanenescence to Lacuna Coil?
Evanescence are talentless pop-rock band who like to dress up in black. All their songs are basically the same: power chord-chorus-powerchord-chorus-bridge with Amy showing off-chorus. Amy Lee may sound ok on CD, but just listen to her live, she is awful.
Lacuna Coil are proper goth rock band, hugely varied songs which can range from haunting ballads to all-out heavy metal assault. Their lyrics are great, both singers are great and both guitarists can rip solos. Evanescence are basically Linkin Park with a chick singer and no rapping. Never compare them to LC.

Like Stinkfist said, Lacuna Coil has absolutely NOTHING to do with Evanescence. People who say that don't have any musical knowledge whatsoever.
Christina's voice is really amazing, and Andrea complements her perfectly, especially in the heavier parts of the songs.
And about Evanescence, they really suck live, I saw them in Rock in Rio here in Portugal, and it was just awful.

i agree with stinkfist too Evanenescence and lacuna coil dont sound the same, they styles are different for a start, and christina is a legend. she really is i admire her so much, shes gorgeous she has an amazing voice, absolutely touching and shes just naturally sexy. And she sounds amasing live now ive seen Evanenescence live too i went with my friend because she didnt want to go on her own and she is nothing live! But lacuna coil was amasing!

"they dont sing in the same key" - that's hardly a difference... most bands sing in lots of keys
I also think Evanescence are a lot closer to Lacuna Coil than to Linkin Park - both of those are stupid comparisons really

I absolutely LOVE Lacuna Coil. I've got their entire discography downloaded. Their songs are sung with so much passion and their live sets are amazing.
Senzafine and Enjoy the Silence are probably my two favourites, but it was Our Truth that caught my attention. I caught it on Scuzz and it was the video that caught my eye.
