hey yummy-poo,kyuss broke up because josh wanted to lick nick's harry ass every night in queers of the felching age . as you can see im a little bitter cause' kyuss was the most influntual band since sabbath's first five albums but we still have hope in unida except scott reeder just left the band,and that blows but one day there might be a kyuss reunion ya' never know !

QOTSA has some good tunes but no way are they or will ever be Kyuss. I regret never seeing them live. At the LAUNCH video site (belongs to YAHOO) they still host about 3 of their videos. I've seen 4 of them Demon Cleaner, Green Machine, Thong Song and another one that I can't remember the name off the top of my head. The Green Machine video I was able to download off some site in the past. But they all are excellent. Watching them almost makes you feel like you didn't totally miss out. There also is a bootleg out on the NET of Scott Reeder playing bass with Tool when they covered Demon Cleaner. And Garcia's brief stint with Hermano finally paid off. They are finally out of court and the album was released about 4 months ago. So get them while you can. Their music was from the head, heart, and cock (the best way I can describe it). I definitely recommend burning a fatty and grooving to them through some headphones undisturbed. If anyone has any worthwhile info about Kyuss send it mainman_roxy@yahoo.com.

Chop suey you are a moron who has no musical inclination whatsoever. Comparing System of a Down to Kyuss is sacrilege, and the sign of a man who likes to bang his head without any understanding of why he is doing it.
System of a down are a bunch of untalented idiots with no musical talent....a bit like you really.
Kyuss are without question the greatest band to ever grace this Earth.

im only 17 and i heard kyuus for the first time 3 hears ago and fell in love with it. i quess i was born to late but i still have qotsa to enjoy live. i've gotten all my friends into them. it took a while but they soon realized how fukin awsome they were. nothin beats gettin high and just listnen to kyuss. i would pay any amount to see them live. i fukin hate the fact i was born in 86. o well, maybe i can start a kyuss revivale in the younger ages in toronto

what more can i say
im 17, born in 85, got into kyuss when blues came out, making me ahh....7.
truth.....it is possible for kids to like good music, however rare and coincedental it may be.
Brilliant music....ive got a rare live performance in the desert, very sketchy, and the heavy crashes drown out most of the sound, but it is really intimate, and COOL!
and have been an avid follower of QOTSA and desert sessions for years also, QOTSA is the greatest rock band of this era.....

I want to share my thoughts on kyuss,
about 2 years ago i was (and still am) a huge tool fan, so i leeched all the tool i could find off the net after buying all the albums, and then one day i found an mp3 out there that said "tool - (kyuss) demon cleaner.mp3". well after listening to it once, even tho i could hardly hear the words, or anything from the crap quality song, i was hooked, line and sinker. I have, as recomended above played all my kyuss CDs as loud as possible on my BOSE system, (converting my neighbour in the process) and still loving it, i have made t-shirts for me and my friends, and currently consider them to be one of the best bands that have ever walked the face of the earth. They dont care about image, something that tool have adopted off them (like not showing up to award shows to collect awards that they have won) they play music because they enjoy it, they love it, they live it. something very few bands out there today know how to do. They dont make stupid music videos to make money, they believe in the principal that music cannot be watched, only listened to. Im sure if they started up again, they would be an instant hit, and then when i ask to buy their cds at my record shop they wont look at me like im some stupid rambling idiot.
Kyuss represents all that was good in the music industry, all that music should be today, hell i even have kyuss as my personalized number plate on my car!
Kyuss for life.

kyuss is the band i always listen to when i fell depressed ( more and less 6 of 7 days heheh)...it invades me of adrenaline,it makes me take the car and drive and drive, forgoting all the shit, ...and don´t laugh about this...kyuss is very sensual.....wellcome to sky valley is the best album to listen while fucking...don´t you think?hehehe
