Jim Croce was cool. He died when he was thirty! That's too young. I mean, Kurt Cobain, I couldn't care less about. In fact, he was such a selfish git for shooting himself and leaving his son with Courtney Love as a mother. Hmm, I'm sure he has a GREAT childhood! Jim Croce though, he was cool...

Jim Croce will always be a hero...he is immortal! He may be physically gone from this plane of existence, but his gigantic spirit survives eternally. His music should be respected and listened to with the utmost reverence! Only the very special people of this world should attempt to perform his incredibly awesome lyrics. It's a shame that some people on this forum talk about such a great singer in bad way. In few years he was able to produce wonderful songs that we still enjoy.
