I love his solo stuff from as well as the Bran Van project. His music is fun and composed really well.

ever since Jim Corcoran introduced his musique on A Propos (http://www.cbc.ca/apropos/index.html) Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde, L'Amour Est Sans Pitié {oh wow} I loved it better than anything I hear since Harmonium and CANO. This guy writes with humour and feeling, and the music I can dance to while I am grinning. Years later I finally bought L'Amour Est Sans Pitié, then a year or two later, I bought Menteur, to see what direction he was coming from, then Les Fourmis to see where he was going. He is going crazy with love et plaisir :-) La Vallée des Réputations is soooo gooood!! I now HAVE to get Le Dóme, what mp3s I have downloaded have given me an appetite. I even made 2 CD's I called Les Mayors of "Jean the clerk" and sent it off to my daughters mother et tante(they are franco-Albertans) in Victoria. She loves them too! and I hope she buys some of the wolf also. I just wish he would do more concerts. I went to Montréal last summer and was hoping to catch him at the Rock'n'roll festival at Place des Arts. Miro was OK, but no substitute for the wolf. I heard he has played Toronto, but I've never seen anything about that?!!? Anyone here from Toronto, and want to set up a wolf-watch for concerts? anrkissed@sympatico.ca

Hi/bonjour,
I first heard John Leloup while I was on Katimavik, in southern Quebec (Frelighsburg actually). I was blown away; funny, human, and always tasteful! I try and turn all my friends on to him, but in Saskatchewan, it's a little tougher.
You think you have problems catching his shows, man. *shakes head* I wonder why the guy never comes out west, and just does small dates. Oh well.
Merci pour votre temps et l'espace.
