Heather Nova is a solo artist who sings her rather enchanting songs with a very high voice. She had some hits something like 6 years a go, all from the album Siren if I am not wrong. Maybe she shoudl be catogorized between Ani Difranco on one side and Alanis morisette on the other.

ah yeah...Siren and Oyster are great albums.... and "live from the milky way" is such a wonderful live album...her voice is mesmerizing...
