Gillian welch is an amazing and peaceful vocalist, David Rawling's guitar playing is absolute genius. I can't get enough, and am disappointed that this page doesn't have more entries.

It is indeed very nice music. But as with most serious and honest artists, you don't have to expect to many people interested in it.

I saw them live and it was fantastic! What a duo. They really have their act together, knowing what they want to do and doing it, and beating the system while they are at it. Here's hoping they last forever.
