hi, I'm italian, 54 y.o. Freddy was my idol when I was in my early teens and i still love him dearly... from Heimweh to Rosalie, Junge Komm bald wieder, the sea songs, each time I hear him singing I feel a thrill and memories of my happy youth come by... and the Christmas nights when we played his album Weinachten auf hoher see....... ah Freddy.........

Hi ,I am argentinian,freddy was the music,we use to listen at home in the Buenos Aires suburbs,and I am not of german background,but I always love good music,I think today I own most of Freddy songs,eiher tape,vinil or cd.

Hallo, ich bin aus Russland. Ich hoere die Lieder von Freddy Quinn schon gute 30 Jahre und bin immer noch von ihenen fasziniert. Heute versuche ich diese Liebe an meine Deutschstudenten weiter zu geben. Ich denke, dass solche Lieder, wie "Junge, komm bald wieder" bleiben ever green. Mein name ist Freda und ich komme aus England. Freut mich sehr. Freddy is wunderbar - er is mein Held. Ich war in 1952 geboren. Mein Vater (er ist polnisch) spielt 'Freddy Musik' - ungefahr 1960's. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Vielen Dank Lieber Freddy - du bist fantastisch.

Freddy's music inspired many young Germans in the 60's like myself,my dear [since deceased] brother Joe and many others to seek new homes overseas like, in our case, Canada.

Freddy, with his music, affected the feeling and acting of a whole generation: he gave hope to all of us to look beyond the immediate and the ordinary and made people like us aspire to bigger horizons and the extra-ordinary.

Freddy Quinn was (is) my idol since my teen years. I was born and raised in Germany and grew up listening to my Freddy. At age 17 I left Germany and immigrated to the United States. I was only able to see Freddy LIVE once in Germany, but was lucky enough to see him 4 more times LIVE in the US. I was also lucky enough to have him autograoh a record cover for me. Now, nearly 40 years later, I still treasure that signed cover and still listen to my hero sing. Freddy, thank you so much for all the enjoyment you've given me over the years. You'll always have a very special place in my heart.
