>>By FNM LOVA   (Monday, 31 Mar 2003 23:11)

Mike we love you! Why for God's sake WHY did FNM have to split. Now all I have to listen to is all your fantastic old albums (not that I'm complaining), but I miss the range of vocal brilliance that you so obviously have. Mike I really love you and your voice, please come back, PLEASE!

Yes its sad everybody. Everyone moves on. We gotta realize that sometimes. They were the greatest band, but look, there is also Tomahawk ( Mit Gas kicks ass by the way!)

by far the greatest, who else can replace them?

>>By Koshka1627   (Sunday, 18 Jan 2004 08:36)

Remember seeing them live but the guest were L7 and (sorry!!!) i thought that they were really better that FNM.

Cheers,

Madrugada.

Madrugada, we meet again. I saw FNM in Kansas City in about 1990. They dressed up like Wizard of OZ characters. And sorry kids, but the Chili Peppers blew them away. They tore the roof off that motherfucker and made FNM look like tools. Took them to school. Sorry. Gotta call 'em like I see 'em.
Speaking of the Chili Peppers and bands who break up too soon, take comfort: The only thing more painful than a band's premature break-up is when a band doesn't know when to call it quits.

Absolutly ok with your point of view, Seward3. Saw the RHCP live & they're a hundred times better that Faith No More.

Cheers,

Madrugada.

the red hot chilli smokers play music by numbers, maybe anyone who prefers them to fnm gets sucked up in the marketing value of a cliched funk band as opposed to the originality and quality of a non generic group of musicians!?

fnm rock and kick the chili smoker's asses everytime

I agree with Koshka1627. What I would like to know is if RHP feel ashamed that they only appeal to 12 year olds in general? I'd feel ashamed - who would want only little kids listening to your music? Admitedly older people listen to them, but the majority are little kids. Faith No More deserve more than a page's worth of ramblings about them. And god - the last one was written in January - I'd have though Der Gothmarmot would have posted something here...

RHCP have been stuck in a rut for the last three albums, faith no more consistantly produced new and exciting material, I know which one I'd choose to still have around...

Faith No More are just...genious?!!!:)))))
