I like ELO! I am 19. They do rock and I like them. I have always liked them and I think it maybe because of my father playing there records 24/7.
I do really like the film Xanadu with there songs in.

I have been a fan of this band for longer than I can remember. It was the main inspiration behind my own music that i have written and produced. There are many bands who mixed orchestra with music, but Jeff Lynne had or has a special gift for melody that goes beyond the simple level of "tools" in music and lifts them to knew heights. A perfect example of this is "Living thing" , which is a great example of orchrstra and rock mixed seamlessly together. He hasn't forgotten how to rock either, as is seen in his song, "State of Mind" , which is found on his knewest ELO album, "ZOOM". Long live ELO !!

I love ELO,I got into them because I like stuff like Manfred Mann, Talking Heads, Sweet, Neil Young, and stuff from late 70's & early 80's. Someone told me about ELO and I got hooked. My parents were hippies out in S.F. on the Haight so I listen to lots and lots from 60's,70's,80's classic rock. I'm 17 years old and I live in cali in the eastbay. If you want to contact me E-mail me at Jizoiks_ila@yahoo.com Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah. ELO is one of the best band ever. i re-discovered them recently (i'm 18) when my friend sent me some mix CDs with some ELO on it, but my bro used to listen to them all the time. my favorite songs are mr. blue sky, the diary of horace wimp, little town flirt and... aaaaaaaah. everything is amazing.

I am 56 - yes one of the oldies - but I love the ELO. My kids have grown up with the ELO on tapes in the car and later CD's - and now they too play the ELO. I am having "Hold On Tight" played at my funeral - whenever that is - so I can go out on a high !! This is the best popular/classical music in the world - I cannot believe that anyone can argue with this statement !!
