I loved Ed Hall!!! When is Pong playing Houston?

I'm not huge into Ed Hall or anything (but I did nearly wear out my copy of Gloryhole a few years back) but I was wondering if that was them in Richard Linklater's movie Slacker?

Ed Hall played two reunion shows at the 710 club in Austin this weekend. It was awsome.

Yep, that was them in SLACKER. Just saw Ed Hall on FRI and SAT June 20-21 2003 for a reunion show at Room 710 in Austin... AWESOME! All three of them are in PONG and their old drummer KEvin is in the Via Satellites

seeing these guys rock it again was jus' like ole times. it was cool to see them with an extra drummer. wasn't able to go on sat, but fri WAS awesome. more shows!!

i know i'm a little late in posting anything about Ed Hall. but what the hell. i would give anything to see'em play at Emo's just once more. (to bad Emo's in Houston is dead, goddamn yuppies ruin everything). i almost never missed a show. one of the greatest live bands ever. i could watch them play forever. even if they were just makin' noise. i wasn't even old enough to drink yet when i used to go, and i still had the time of my life. i think they owe us one more album. i'll even record it for 'em.....for free!!!
