Dinosaur Jr.

Forum

The first band produced the best material, however I think that in the after math we were given two good band Sebedoh and Dinasaur Jr.

la primera vaz q escuche a dinosaur jr pensé, esta banda es demasiado buena, llenando los espacios sonoros de heterofonia y de extrema delicadeza, una mezcla tan unica q me partió el craneo...

at one time i was only in to nirvana but when i went to one of their shows and saw dinosaur jr open for them they were awesome

haven't listen to them in years....
saw j mascis play a solo show a couple years back.
it was humiliatingly horrible...
he looked terrible, bad shape..
he stood in the audience before he went on drinking a beer, and no one would talk to him,.. i don't think anyone recognized him,... overweight
sad sad
would have done better with the whole band cause all he did was play dinosaur jr. songs all night..

I don't mind my rock stars getting fat. Elvis did it spectacularly! It's when they get stagnant that I mind. Mascis is responsible for some awesome music but the past few years he's been repeting himself relentlessly. I'd like to see him move on

i hear of them for the first time...i was redirected here by gnod, when i was on the discover music thingy....i typed 3 of my favourite bands: placebo, sonic youth and david bowie, and it said it recommended me this band. so...what style is this exactly?

Check out the sound sample of "Feel the Pain" from their CD Without a Sound on www.amazon.com for a good feel for their style.

I can see the sonic youth connections (they know each other and they've played together anyway) but the other ones? I don't think so. Download "Freak Scene". It's their most popular song maybe. If you like it then check out "You're living all over me", "Green mind" and "where you been" Lp's

I love "without a sound" and "Green Mind".......
