Hey I'm from colombia I just wanna say that Dimmu is a great band, with a lot of technique and dark lyrics, I'm agree with some guys here and their opinions, but who is that stupid Christ Messenger? u fucking farsant what are you doing here?

Dimmu Borgir, what can i say? Their lyrics can enchant my soul , and alone can bring me to heaven, full of the pleasures of hell. I love it how they combine opera-like singing, with the scratchy vocals of black metal. As for them being plastic and commercialized like COF, step off man. What is wrong with Cradle of Filth? They were the first black metal band to get signed by a major record label, i'm tried of our music being the undergound, why can't it hit the top 10 charts? Can't it get popular just once? I'd love for the world to be enchanted by our music. But it isn't, don't resent change man, for without it we would lose interest in what we love: our music. COF puts a lot of work into their music, as for it being fake... how so? They wrote the songs, they played the music... all they had help on was the videos (like every band) and the album cover design. Their newer CD: Damnation & a Day, might have a little commercialized work on it, but every band does that at least once. Damnation & a Day also had a 32 piece orchestra, and a 32 person choir. How many bands put that much work into things? And their concerts are like a big show, one that only Gwar can beat. Anyways, this is about Dimmu Borgir, not COF :) I love their music, and feel that they will be remembered as a great band.

Also, guys... what is with the childness? OH MY FCUKING GOD! DB IS THE BEST FUCKING BAND IN THE WORLD! ANYBODY WHO DOESN'T LIKE THEM SHOULD DIE! ...That isn't cool, that is stupid. First off, DON'T TALK IN CAPS, second... people have their own opinions, don't hate because their's isn't the same as yours, third... stop with the profanity, it just makes us (fans of the genre) look bad. All you all 12 years old? I'm tried of running into people who act like little kids... you know, the people who walk around talking about how much they hate preps. Man, this is about the music... not the hate.

Anyways, Black Metal kicks ass, Dimmu Borgir owns, may metal live on forever, and may bush die.

Dimmu borgir fucking kick ass! puritanical euphoric misanthropia is one of the BEST black metal album my ears have heard and there latest death cult armagedon is outstanding also, dimmu borgir with an orchestra was a genious idea! amazing!

I just saw them at Oz-Fest and half an hour was not enough time at all. The sound was killer much better than SLAYER or SUPER JOINT by far. The look of them in the day light with out lights and smoke and all the gimmics was so cool. They don't need all that stuff at all. I have all of these Live videos of them, at a bunch of out door fests. And they are truely blessed by SATAN to have such a strong show and comand over the people. I have seen it all over 27 years in the Metal music thing ,and DIMMU is right up on the all time Classic list now!!!! And they will only get better with time. HAIL DIMMU and HAIL SATAN!!!! Hi there . I am a black metal fan like all of you but I haven't yet heard a lot of it. Dimmu Borgir is my second favourite black matal band. I like Cradle Of Filth the most. I totally agree with Rusty Blade. Dimmu's lyrics are really grim and they are really great to hear. But I don't think that their lyrics are better than that of Cradle Of Filth's. Thoe who disagree with me just read them one more time. Shagrath is a really cool vocal. What I like best of them is their keyboard. Man, they really rock with the keyboard that has a immense impact on their songs. This instrument is making their songs more black. It just swooped me away when i heard my first Dimmu Borgir album "Enthrone Darkness Triumphant" . Hail Dimmu and keep up the black work

i dont really care if bands i like alot of other people like or hate, but most of timewhen bands go commercial, they do change sound ... and it just stops being real black metal..... i still like dimmu though
