Well, does anyone disagree with the fact that all she does is reproduce and soightly modify other people's work?

All I know is the first time I heard this lady, I fell immediately in love. She's got the kind of voice that wraps around you and warms you in all the right places.

diana, look up dianakrall.com. this is probably one of the first websites dedicated to this wonderful lady, and i think it's now considered the "official" website. i came across it about 1999 after it was first created. it has grown much since then.

I've a wonderful husband. He appreciate everything about Diana. He loves her voice, her music, how she looks... everything.
I would like to invite him to a concert in Monte Carlo in France.
I think it's previous for july 2003. I saw it on th website.

Be sure to check out the new CD called "Heartdrops", it is the earliest known CD by Diana and has not been available until now. It's a must have!!!

I've also become a fan of Diana. Good to see Jazz get such wide acclaim. I heard her because she recorded 'Popsicle Toes' by Michael Franks. Fans here would do well to check him out. A fine tenor voice, great lyrics and records with top session men such as Larry Carlton, Joe Sample, Michael Brecker, David Sanborn, Steve Gadd, Ron Carter, etc.

There’s a singer named Cassandra Reed who just came out with her debut album. It has a certain jazzy/blues tone to it, and she has a very seductive voice that just seemed to flow really well with the music. I saw her on the jazz vocal charts at mp3.com, and listened to some tracks. It is really worth the listen.

when you talk about female jazz singers that play piano, Norah Jones is definitely the hottest name right now but have you thought of the tradition of contemporary female jazz singers? i think Diane Schuur is worth a mention. her style is similar to Diana Krall. (continued on next message)

she's been around for almost 20 years and received 2 GRAMMYs for best jazz vocalist. her new album is coming out on Concord Records. the funny thing about this album is, it's produced by Barry Manilow. can you imagine? he even duets with her. it's great though.
