Nope....   (Wednesday, 12 Mar 2003 09:00)

not, Tantric is a group formed by three members of Days of the new except Travis Meeks, singer and guitarrist of the group, he makes the lyrics and music too...i think he creates the band... From Spain Chao

It really suck that Days of the New had to break up, the lead singer just had to be an ass!

"Bring me down..." are lyrics to "The Down Town", a song off of the Orange Album released in 1997. You can find these lyrics on the official site at DaysoftheNew.com

The Days of the New Official Fan Club opened on April 27th, 2003, and the web site is located at DotnFanClub.com

Do any Days of the New fans still exist?
God, I hope so. (I hope I'm not the only one...)
It's been a while since Meeks came out with an album.
Personally, I thought the "red album" was the best so far; however, I've read a lot of bad press on it and the band since then.
Then again, I live in Phoenix....if you don't listen to rap or mexican music here, you're in the minority. I've heard that the band is more popular back east.
Anyway, I always found their music to be very uplifting and inspiration. And even though I'm aware that Meek's apparently has an enormous ego, I still appreciate the content and depth of his music. You don't see a lot of other bands experimenting with orchaestras (hope I spelled that right).
Oddly enough, I rate them among my favorite bands, which also include the likes of TOOL. (Strange? Yes, I know.)
Please, will somebody let me know if Days of the New is still producing music?
