Like many kids growing up in the 19070s, my introduction to jazz came through the soundtrfacks of the "Peanuts" cartoons and Chuck's "Feels So Good" -- still one of the best, most memorable instrumentals of recent decades. If you've never heard it, try to track down the edited version that was released as a single; It's been stepped up a pitch higher than the album version, and is a bit brighter-sounding.

The full-meal-deal, 9-minute version "Feels So Good" can be found on a best of disc called "Chuck Mangione: The Millenium Collection," which also features a bunch of his biggest hits ("Give It All You Got" is fun, too).

As of 2003 he still records and tours. He's got a website, www.chuckmangione.com where his latest itinerary can be found. I've never seen him in concert, but he's supposed to put on a great show.

Hi this is Chuck Mangione! Thank you for all the wonderful things you had to say about me and my classic albums in the 70's and 80's. An artist really appreciates when his fans reach out and support him. However, just so you guys know, I'm not a genius at all. I'm actually a fraud. Yes thats right, a fraud. I actually wrote "Feel's So Good" because I am a homosexual man, and I love the feeling of a tight hairy asshole being broken in by my big, Mexican cock. I also wrote because it's a refreshing song to have sex to, whether you are a gay or straight. Thanks again to the fans; when I think of all you guys I touch myself and it "Feels So Good."

In the early 70's I listened to a lot of Chuck Mangione and saw his quartet in Palo Alto. I'd really like to find the album Friends and Love on a CD isw that a possibility.

I really like Chuck Mangione's music. Our marching band play a show in honor of Chuck Mangione. It was the best show I have played in my three years of marching band.

Chuck Mangione is such an awesome musician, I highly enjoy his "Children of Sanchez" and " Land of Make Believe." Those are so great songs. His concert that he played in Hampton Roads was hot to, it's not everyday a high school student gets to play his instrument. Go Brass !!!

Chuck Mangione is one of my favorite artists, as the same as Joao Gilberto, Chuck Loeb, Caetano Veloso, Peter white....But the truth is that he kick asses playing that thing

my opinion of Chuck Mangione is very short. But the only thing i know is when i wake up, i always like to put one of my favorite songs. The name is -feel so good- this song put a smile in your face no matter if you are sad.

Chuck's the reason I discovered jazz in 1975. In my opinion (and I know most of his music): "Song for a Latin Lady", "Chaia's Theme", "Give It All You Got", "The Children of Sanchez", "I Never Missed Someone Like You Before" and "Please Stay The Night" are his best. I am also looking for 3 songs produced between '73 and '97 but i forgot the names. Cuck also is the reason I started loving, understanding and playing trumpet (although he plays a Flugel)

Mr. Mangione is a musical genius. He plays the flugelhorn and feelings are turned into music.
