What about the lyrics to "Sake in the Jar"? I always found that song interesting cuz it's a blend between my 2 favorite genres--irish and j-pop!

Can anyone tell me what the story is with Martin Fay. He suddenly disappeared from the last album and I can't seem to find any mention of it anywhere. Was there a falling out?

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the lyrics to St. Stephen's Day Murders, from the Chieftains album Bells of Dublin? It's my favorite Christmas Cd and that song, in particular, is one I enjoy. But there is a line I just can't quite make out.
Thanks

Tjm

Can anyone out there help me find a song the Chieftan's sang on a Soap Opera about 10 years ago?? Please forgive me, I don't know what Soap Opera it was, but it involved two Irish characters that were married, and this song was sang at 'their wedding' on the show. Also, if it helps, it was a Soap on ABC. It was undoubtedly the Chieftan's, but I don't know what song. Can anyone help me???

are you talking bout marie's wedding????

step ye gaily on we go,
heel for heel and toe for toe,
on and on on row on row all for marie's wedding...

if so it's actually a traditional irish song - and van morrison does a version of it with them on irish heartbeat
