I am inquiring for information for my dad for his Christmas present this year. I am giving him a couple of videos that I got from the Ernest Tubb Record Shop as well as information I can get off of the internet.

Carl Smith is his all time favorite! I think that he has almost every record that he has made but he has only gotten to see him only one time in concert in Muskogee, Oklahoma in the mid-70's and Carl was not in his best form at the time.

We were in Nashville in the early 70's but dad did not know that Carl had a ranch in Franklin, Tenn. and he has always wanted to go back there and at least drive by it. Do you know of anyone who knows where it's at or of any address to be able to write to Carl Smith directly or to a fan club?

I had read in Country Weekly during the past couple of years that Carl had a few performances at the Grand Old Opry but when I inquired of them a couple of months ago they just gave me the video information to purchase for him.

My mother wants a photo of Carl Smith for Christmas. I'm not having any luck finding a fan club. Does anyone have any idea where I might locate a photo? Other than ebay. I already checked there.
