I honestly can't find any artistic integrity in them wotsoever. It's fine if you like them and if you have all their lovely posters that came free with "Smash Hits" magazine, but you should really take a good look at yourself and ask:do I want to listen to stupid adolescent pop songs about time travel and sexual yearning for your teacher? If you do that's fine-I'm only trying to help you through this embarassing stage in your develepment. There are far more enlightening/inspiring/thought-provoking music out there, but if you want to limit yourself to mindless drivel churned out by punk-rock wannabes then be my guest.

*cue a witty yet uninspired retalliation*

btw it was totp
and we like wat we like
u like wat u like
end the day
i'm a busted fan a fucking proud of it
and at least they write their own songs which is more that i can say for ne other bands

>>By unearthed_jellybelly   (Monday, 22 Mar 2004 17:28)

There are thousands of bands who write their own songs. A lot of them even write GOOD music, which Busted certainly don't do. You'll be embarassed about liking them later on in life, you know. You won't be able to proudly say to your kids: "Listen to this, it rocks!" because they'll be ashamed of you. At least I can say Coldplay and Queen will still be popular in 20 years' time.
As for the album coming out before Christmas; of course it did! If it came out after Christmas, you wouldn't be able to buy it as a present, would you?

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Monday, 22 Mar 2004 20:38)

actually i got it 4 my birthday so i didn't get it for christmas and i would still have got it even if it came out after christmas maybe not as a present but i would of got it!
i won't be embarressed to say i like them in a few years time, i'm proud of the music i like, and u people think that although they aren't the sort of music u like, but other people like them and i could probably think of a band that i dislike that u like.
and atleast they have credit for doing wat the do best....they have crisma (sp?) like robbie williams

>>By unearthed_jellybelly   (Tuesday, 23 Mar 2004 17:23)

do u mean CHARISMA unearthed jellybelly? thats a good point actually sk8a h8a :)

>>By idontknowdotcom23   (Tuesday, 23 Mar 2004 17:38)

yeah thats wat i meant

>>By unearthed_jellybelly   (Monday, 29 Mar 2004 19:16)

ur opinion flo
if u hate me fine!
and endless_nameless
have u seen them live????

>>By unearthed_jellybelly   (Thursday, 1 Apr 2004 16:06)

I don't hate you - I just think you're really ignorant. I never said YOU got it for Christmas, but a lot of people will have bought it for their friends who didn't even like Busted, just because it seemed appropriate. Another example is my friend who buys Busted CDs because he's "supporting the British music industry" - can you believe that??

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Thursday, 1 Apr 2004 18:08)

No I haven't seen them live...I don't really want to either-I like my music to have attitude and passion-any band that appears in an adolescent girls' magazine, frankly,it makes me laugh.Infact what the hell am I doing here?I'm off to the Pantera forum....

>>By endless_nameless   (Friday, 2 Apr 2004 03:09)

y thank u scythe

i do like other music aswell!
they should put a mcfly board up
ne way sk8a h8a if ur friend buys busted cds then he/she would like 2 know their next cd is out on the 12th of april

>>By unearthed_jellybelly   (Friday, 2 Apr 2004 16:43)

Yeah, he probably would appreciate knowing that. He even bought Who's David... McFly really do suck and they're nowhere near as famous as Busted.
I like other music as well. Other than anything I talk about on here, that is...

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Friday, 2 Apr 2004 17:41)

mcfly single 5 colours in her hair
is this week official uk numba 1 if u want to no
air hostess i like the way u dress
hehe

>>By unearthed_jellybelly   (Monday, 5 Apr 2004 23:20)

Yes, I knew it was the number 1. That is pretty sad... After all, the song is rather bad. Still, it beats Busted.

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Monday, 5 Apr 2004 23:55)

its brilliant
its catchy
and plus a song on cd 2 saturday nite is great

>>By unearthed_jellybelly   (Tuesday, 6 Apr 2004 15:58)

shit, just lost half a page of critisism as my computer crashed (so any apolagies for turning into a pissed of satan as I have to summarize my hate for this creation). well anyways, busted suck, they are pussy-whipped death reincarnated and should be burned or crucified. they are bridging the huge rock-pop abyss, and should be murdered solely for that reason, as it was one cavern that was never meant to be bridged as the second coming of pop-shit would flow into the valley of rock (80's rock was the first such near appocaliptic event)... yeah. umm, its a coincidence they formed in 2002, when in Britain, rock sales outdid pop sales. they don't make their own music, they have been given a heavy dose of rohypnol and GHB and have, not been raped sadly, but given lyrics and told that in a moment of enlightenment, during which they lost conciousness, they wrote the lyrics. Being the seriously dumb and gullible bunch of sissies that they are, they fell for it and released their self titled album, which later became the spawn of satan.

I would like to thank the late Bill Hicks for inspiring me to write this piece.

>>By shmoe   (Sunday, 11 Apr 2004 00:29)

well busted do write their own songs
james also helped mcfly write 5 colours in her hair which is the uk numba 1 until 7 when we find out if they stay
and if busted are dumb then why did they all get good gsce results
charlie a and b
james b
matt c
and im not bothering to argue with ne of u sad acts

>>By unearthed_jellybelly   (Sunday, 11 Apr 2004 14:48)

I don't know what is considered clever these days, but getting B's and C's (or A's for that matter), at GCSE's is nothing spectacular as they are all faked by the government anyway, (did they only get one result each, cause that's equivalent to footballers). Try Mick Jagger, he was at the LSE for 2 years (got bored afterwards but still).
So they are a dropout, engineered, dumb ass, weakling and pathetic excuse for a band.

>>By shmoe   (Sunday, 11 Apr 2004 16:22)

Ahahahahaha those are NOT good GCSE results! They are really, really bad... Did they take Music GCSE? I'm impressed to see that Charlie got an A AND a B. He must be multi-idiotic. I'm just about to take my GCSEs, so if I get at least one C like Matt, unearthed _jellybelly is going to by my album. Yay! Thank you.
Whatever happened to the guy who wrote "What I Go to School For" or whatever that song is called? I'll tell you: you got kicked out of Busted and replaced by Charlie. Now he's about to get evicted and he can't afford a car so he has to go everywhere on a scooter... Then look at Busted, who have money pouring out of their ears. Something not quite right? Yeah, they gave this guy no credit and no money at all. that's the British spirit.

>>By Flake 1.6   (Sunday, 11 Apr 2004 19:28)

im confused now huh???
they guy that was in busted helped write the songs but left half way through and therefore doesn't have rights to the song
and i would of thought they would have done music as a gsce

>>By unearthed_jellybelly   (Monday, 12 Apr 2004 00:38)

Of course he has rights to the song. He didn't leave - they kicked him out. And he wrote all of that song. And how do you know they did Music? I didn't do it, but I still write songs, sing, play guitar, keyboards... I have aspirations to be a rockstar. I'm expecting a string of As and A*s in my GCSEs, so don't forget to buy all of my albums!

>>By Sk8a H8a   (Monday, 12 Apr 2004 11:49)

5 colours in her hair was written by tom fletcher, danny jones and james bourne
they help each other out as they are friends

>>By unearthed_jellybelly   (Tuesday, 20 Apr 2004 18:15)

i recorded back 2 the future when it was on gd friday
hehe
i still need 2 watch it
maybe when im bored 1 day ill watch it

>>By unearthed_jellybelly   (Thursday, 22 Apr 2004 20:04)

well i think Busted rule, they changed the pop industry when the first came on2 the scene with what i go 2 skool 4, every1 was gettin bored of just boybands until busted came but busted rn't a boyband u dont c them doin a dance routine or sitting on stools theyre a pop band and proud, they write pop songs and play their own instrumentsm, if u hav saw them in concert youll know what im talking about, and they r a lovely bunch of guys very down 2 earth.

>>By mattsgal4ever   (Friday, 23 Apr 2004 15:47)

quotes exactly from busted them selves
"For people to call us a boy band is offensive. It's degrading. Anyone that calls us a boy band obviously doesn't know much about music... If anyone was a fly on the wall in the process of making a Busted album they'd see it's not done the way a boy band does it. Boy bands just have to go in and sing the songs and the album is made very quickly. For us there's a certain amount of time to allow because we have to write it, find the producers, go in and record it. It's a completely different process."

>>By mattsgal4ever   (Friday, 23 Apr 2004 15:50)

busted were the best i cant belive they split up coz of charlie i hate him now i still pure love the cutie james isnt he sweet and he is so funny

>>By sexy babe   (Monday, 14 Mar 2005 17:12)

I used to be a Busted fan..
Then I saw the light and started to listen to Nirvana...
*Shudder*

I burnt 'A Present For Everyone'

>>By Bitch Fit   (Monday, 14 Mar 2005 20:52)

oh god i'm never gonna forgive myself for posting on this message board, but that's ok 'cos marek's gonna delete it soon.

i'm really disturbed by what i've seen here today. busted must be good because they write their own songs..... busted must be good because they got good gcse results..... oh god i feel sick. all you have to do is be someone with an ounce of sense and listen to the music to realise they're a stupid pop group with a fanbase of twelve-year-old girls. regardless of whether they write their own music, the fact is they are not a proper band, they're a joke. and an abomination.

>>By Flagg   (Monday, 14 Mar 2005 21:33)

and why am i not surprised that their main defender types in texting (sorry txting) language?

read this one quick kids cos it's SURE to get deleted.

>>By Flagg   (Monday, 14 Mar 2005 21:35)

Involving little or no brain power. Thank goodness they're gone!
