Hey does anyone out there have the rarer Burzum stuff like the Celtic Frost covers, the original "lighter" CDS, the live stuff with Darkthrone, the side project of Clandestine Blaze, or the tribute that Absurd put out? This is a rumor but there is supposedly Burzum trenchcoats and meshed wifebeaters with silver lettering avalible through some guy on E bay.

Varg would definitely not like to be worshipped, much less be defined as a god. He must stay hidden after his release. It will be as unpublicized as possible. He is completely out of black metal, as the last few Burzum releases show. Burzum is not officially over with. This is all a fairy tale.

Varg is truly above all. Burzum is unique and will not be compared to other bands. Mayhem is also a good band, despite the conflict between varg and euronymous however do not posess a pure feeling like Burzum portrays.
I think highly of Varg and support his views.
long live Burzum, you will remain my favourite above all.
btw, "Det Som Engang Var" from the album "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" is my favourite song.

Sorry folks but there will be no more Burzum releases - Vikernes definetely finished his musical activity as well as he has finished the official Burzum site (I don't know is Norsk Heathen Freont still active). He will be out of prison in 2016 having 41 years old (there is no possibility he will be turn loose before that date by any mean - like good behaviour etc.). By the way - did you know he has a daughter (she's living with her mother)?

Stating black metal as the true form of arian music is as stupid as hating other races. Metal and Rock music in general where derived from Blues, and that's cleary music of the black people. So without Blues there wouldn't be Rock or Black metal.

Alot of you don't know anything about Burzum, or Mayhem for that matter. Yes, the current Mayhem is weak, but Euronymous and Dead were not. It's quite ignorant of you "mayhem are bitches" to say that, when Mayhem were partly responsible for the second wave of black metal. If you like them or not, you cannot say that without giving a reason behind it...Because they were, infact, one of the most brutal bands of the 80's and early 90's.

Also, I do not know why alot of you are speaking about Varg releasing future work under Burzum, Burzum is finished. Varg no longer want's anything to do with Black Metal.. Varg is a man of contradictions, a good musician, but nothing more. I suggest alot of you people whom call yourselves "fans" should really get your facts straight about Burzum before you make statements, because alot of them are incorrect.

you can't judge a person according to what he does in life, whether he kills, eats or goes to the bathroom. it's a matter of taste in his music, if you like it the listen and don't attack. whateher people say will evaporate but what stays is what people leave behind, in this case we have the immortality of great music and a great musician.
I've read so many comments about Varg's growling and screams for not being so good. I advice you to immagine the guy in pain especially in the album "Aske".

Varg wrote some of the greatest works of Black Metal. I do respect him more knowing that he is a man of action (thinking specifically of the church-burnings), but aside from this, anyone who can write the songs and perform all the instruments for one of the greatest Black Metal 'bands' deserves a lot of respect.
