what is the difference between the "ordinary" celestial oceans and the deluxe set? why can't i find cottonwoodhill? is it out of print? is it impossible to find?
on this site, even psychonaut is not here...is that impossible to find, too?

The deluxe edition has a different package and perhaps liner notes, I have not seen one myself as yet, hopefully they corrected all the problems that were still in the second pressing (on which the first track still repeats itself once but at least the entire c.d. doesn't have four pauses like the first pressing) that the cleopatra braintrust put together. Cottonwoodhill is a bit of a challenge to find, but worth it, It's bloody good. I am fairly sure it's been out of print a while, the last C.D. of it I ran across was about three years ago. Psychonaut was never pressed alone on C.D. to my knowledge, it was part of a Compilation that had Cottonwood Hill and Psychonaut on one C.D. released in the mid nineties, it was simply called "Brainticket", and had the art from Psychonaut shrunk down and surrounded by a large white border. Very hard to find though, worth it again for the Cottonwood Hill tracks, but honestly Psychonaut is a dreadful record, somewhat like the second (and equally disappointing) Mythos record "dreamlab", it is still better then the post Celestial Ocean records though. Feel free to email if you need any help.

Just to add to the info and offer a different perspective to the above.
The deluxe version of CO has been corrected.
No repeat of the first track, and the only space is where side one
of the album ends and side two begins.
Cottonwoodhill is still available on Phonag in a re-mastered form,
much better than the first Bellaphon pressing.
(a bit hard to find but,it's out there)
Psychonaut was released alone on CD on Bellaphon (288 -07 - 092)
but is out of print.
The pairing of Cottonwoodhill and Psychonaut on one CD is a bootleg,
but certainly better than not having a copy of either.
As for Psychonaut being 'dreadful' ?!?,
I suppose taste is subjective,
since many people consider it to be a classic BT album.
(myself included)
As for the post CO releases,
they are quite different from the first three,
but of interest to those so inclined..........
(again,myself included)
