Where is Beck going?

>>By russell   (Monday, 11 Nov 2002 13:49)

beck has no need to go somewhere. This record is not his best one, of course, but he is always new, always with personal identity, and no one can be the way he is.

I think Beck is preety cool and smart. His cold brains is by fair my fav beck single. It's just phenomenon. It is very angular!   (Thursday, 8 May 2003 19:08)

Hey.. if you like Beck's new album, Sea Change, check out the albums: Leaves of Grass, and Pink Moon, by Nick Drake... its not hard to tell where Beck got his inspiration from, for Sea Change. Beck rules!!! I saw him in concert once and it rocked my cock. Bye.

Hey everyone!

You should definately check out the KCRW show at the Universal Amphitheatre on Nov.22!! If you're a "sounds eclectic fan" you should have a blast at the show. This is one of those shows you do not want to miss out on. How often are you able to see BECK, Liz Phair,Damien Rice and The Jurassic 5 together at one show? I really suggest getting your tickets before it sells out! You can purchase your tickets through Ticket master or at the Universal Amphitheatre!! Do not get left out in the dusty trails of the lonely hearts!!I'll be there wearing my pink and purple polk a dotted slippers!

Aberdeen EOnics!

Sea Change must one of the most beautiful spleen-pop album of the past years! I've always been amazed by Beck's skills as a musicians. But he was more into being a brilliant musical cameleon before making this album.
Not a single note to be missed. The compositions and arrangements are gorgeous, the lyrics touching.
Can't get tired of it!

the sea change album is mindblowing. Lost cause has got to go into the category of perfect songs> it's flawless.

i've got a devil's haircut in my mind.

just saw him live the other day (along with radiohead)
mucho good.
I had only really heard 'Loser' before the gig - well conciously, turns out he sung the song from Eternal Sunshine of the
Spotless mind... ahh man that IS a good song.
I love it.
& the puppets !!!!!!

it was a great show, but it was followed by radiohead. kind of unfair for beck.
anyway he's good. and he looked like the vampire lestat.

I'd suggest Odelay, Planetear, althought you can't really go wrong with any of them.

Whatever's happened to him? I thought he was supposed to be the salvation of music or something?

>>By nonyeb   (Tuesday, 25 Mar 2008 00:33)

Beck's not bad for a Scientologist! HAHAHA But the dude has something...He first earned wider public attention for his breakthrough single "Loser," a 1994 hit ...probably still his best known song.....
