The best hardcore band to come out of San Diego. So brutal, tight, and precise. I saw them years ago with mad parade. went off the hook. Had all of the Pasadena pussies scared to death.....they need to play again.....possibly with Encinitas' own MANIFEST DESTINY. If the Faction are playing San Diego, Why can/t BATS?

My father (Dennis) was one of the original bass players in the battalion of saints in the early SD punk scene

Bats kicked totally and supremely!!! I remember buying "Second Coming"lp on vinyl in Halifax, NS, around 1984-85. That album, along with Necros "Conquest For Death"lp dominated my turntable for years to come. I also remember when I moved to Montreal for the 1st time, my new roomates telling me about seeing them and after the show how they had stayed at the place I was living in at the time(84).

Yeah,
I remember the old days in SD... Lion's Club, Boy's Club, etc. I remember the cats from BoS well- especially Dennis and Ted. Hey Devin, if you see this- I'm an OLD friend of yer mom & dad's and I haven't seen either of them since you were a baby. I know you were in O-side for a while... Find me here and let's get in touch, little brother. The Saints were fucking ALLCORE back in the day. Cheers.
Doo-Glasoo.
