Aubergine rocks

Aubergine 3 is more of an international hybrid than a representation of any particular music style - and in this way represents Washington, D.C. quite well. Most of their gigs have been played in Adams Morgan, a neighborhood that prides itself upon its international atmosphere.

I am from France and I do not appreciate you willy americans abusing our language like this with our words, like Aubergine. I must say that I like the disco song however- even if it's title "Spank Le Disco" is still an abuse of my native tongue. I believe this is called
"Franglais." Overall, despite the name, I think their album is a very nice pastiche, un melange des musiques electroniques mondiales. Don't you do what I just did, stupid Americans.

I can't figure these guys out...they're all over the place musically, but I'm willing to forgive them because they seem to do it all really well. This album has already earned a near permanent home in my cd player. It is the soundtrack of my life, right now...funky, chillin', bumpin. Choice.

Freaking Brilliant mash-up of styles. These guys know what the heck they're doing...not just cut and paste, but real musicianship. More please!!!

I didn't know anything about these guys, but my buddy played some tracks for me and I was hooked. Chill is the word, but it definitely moves as well.
