I love The Queen Of Soul she is what you call a true artist and I apperciate her a lot one of my biggest dreams is meeting Aretha Franklin to hear her sing It would be a great privilege for me to meet her She inspires me a whole lot I love all Aretha Franklin songs I listen to her Cds everyday if I dont I can not function in school.

what can i say. areatha in her prime, would give the beatles greatest songs a run for their money. i've never heard a singer like her. there's no flaws in her singing. she's mastered her instrument like no other singer, man or woman.

well Lana i am doing a book report on this beautiful woman and great singer i chose her because i never really new anything about her only that she was the queen of soul and put out the greatest hits. So far of what i read she as a inspirational life cause she was in the gospel loves the lord and so do i. I cant believe i didnt think about reading up on her earler

someone asked if aretha had ever done any gospal albums...she has done: "amazing grace the complete recordings," which is the remastered version of her older gospal album amazing grace, and she has also done one called "one lord, one faith, one baptism."

I know this is kind of old news now but I just got around to posting to this site, Aretha was released from the hospital and is doing much better, she was released march 24th the day before her birthday and spent her bday at her home in detroit with her friends.
