what can i say. areatha in her prime, would give the beatles greatest songs a run for their money. i've never heard a singer like her. there's no flaws in her singing. she's mastered her instrument like no other singer, man or woman.

someone asked if aretha had ever done any gospal albums...she has done: "amazing grace the complete recordings," which is the remastered version of her older gospal album amazing grace, and she has also done one called "one lord, one faith, one baptism."

Beautiful music, incredible voice! She's definately an icon! Her later efforts though seemed like attempts to assasinate the myth and we don't want this to happen, do we?

i have her on video & my goodness her live performance of "Hurts LIke Hell" on the Rolonda Show was one of the best chilling emotional performances by her to date.
