Discussion: Zeromancer Pages: 1 2 WasteOfAGirl introduced me to Zeromancer and my obsession with their infinite awesomeness has reached an unhealthy level... Music from scandinavia is rarely mainstream and most ppl r to 'ignorant' to listen to non mainstream music.I'd have to vote Dr. Online as my fav song. For those who don't understand what i'm saying is that they are known as Seigmen 2 from the old Seigmen fans. They've been around longer than Orgy. Seigmen was an awesome band, many thought that it would be a mistake for them to get back together. I heard some of their stuff and I was sucked in. I ordered Clone Your Lover the day it went on sale online. Then I pre-ordered Eurotrash. It was so great. I went to see Zeromancer at Nation on March 21. They were so awesome. I was right in front of Alex and Kim and let me say their I was really close to touching Alex's hand. I was totally amazed. Kim was getting upset because his cord kept coming out while he was playing. My friend Ed and I were the only ones screaming the lyrics along with Alex. Everyone else was oblivious. Then it was over but to make my day even better Kim gave me his pick personally. Not throw it into the crowd and see who catches it... no no. He looked down at me and placed it in my hand. I felt honored to be touched by a God. I went to school the next day and gloated on how i got his pick and how happy I was. I now await ZZYZX. I was wondering if any of you know how to pronounce it and what it actually means... I know how to pronounce it and the meaning but i want to see if others know too. So i downloaded some music by them and then got their album "EuroTrash" and i think that this is probably the best industrial band ive ever heard. i use to think Orgy was but now i say Zeromancer takes over the industrial world. they deserve more attention here in america but hpoefully not to the point where posers listen to them >>By ZeroFan For those still trying to find the Zeromancer CDs, you can download "Eurotrash" and "Clone Your Lover" - legally! - at www.emusic.com. This is what iTunes SHOULD have been - pay per month rather than per download. The focus is on indie labels rather than majors, so if you only listen to radio crap, you shouldn't bother. On the other hand, I downloaded nearly all of Godflesh's catalog, the last three Neurosis records, a bunch of Beggars Banquet/4AD stuff (Cocteau Twins, Peter Murphy, etc.).... I like orgy, it is a shame that the drummer left, i believe to Snake River Conspiracy. But it is nice to have Zeromancer, i cant wait til the next album comes out. Someone mention Tapeworm? yes manson is involved with that project. Too bad it has a low profile. i want to hear the rest of their songs. (wasn't on the recent tour due to work as giuitar tech for A perfect circle) and, sorry, they only sell their T-shirt etc on their tours... maybe http://www.shadowland.no has some, but I don't know... how I know?
