I am a spanish girl from Galicia that never ever haven´t listened anything from them since the last month...but now, that I know them, I have to say that I love some of their songs like "here comes my baby" or "my little corner of the world" .
They are just brilliant.

Hi... I need an expert 's little help.
I don't know much about Yo la Tengo, but I heard a song from them that I absolutely LOVED. The only thing I can tell you is that the expression "you had it all" (or something like it) was repeated several times. If you know the name of this song and the album it belongs to, please tell me, because I would like to know much more about their work.

I think the song you're asking about is called "you can have it all" and it's included on the lp "And then nothing turned itself inside-out" and it is a really good album. Try it, I really love it. From the beginning to the end.

Yo La Tengo are an awesome band... they've been around for ages... Summer Sun; their latest offereing was the tenth LP they've released and each one is more impressive than the next. I think of Yo La Tengo as a sort of luv'd up Pavement, gentle drums cushioning disperate ambient scores all layered in such a way as to bring them together to form something which in most cases is pretty cool and occasionally just beautiful...

If you haven't done so already... listen to this band... patiently... it's soo worth it.
