| Discussion: Whitney Houston I just became concern about the welfair of the music icon, Whitney Houton who got involved with a drug taker, Bobby Brown and got herself cought up in the mess. But I would want to know her state of affairs. >>By Lansana Bangura WH does exactly what it is that she wants to. I am tired of the press dogging her because JLo jumping from bed to bed is setting a real good example for our girls. Black America needed another excuse to dislike her, while white America never forgave her for marrying the love of her life. I purchased the new album and in my opinion it is some of her best work. It certainly souds better than a whispering Mariah Carey. What's up with that anyways? I have posted several times around the net and I promise that if the producers @ VH1 or MTV would do a DIVAS Salute staring WH the fans will not be let down. I do not even understand why there has not been an Un-Plugged Album since all of the speculations going on. WH is smart, confident, and healed wait until the spring when she starts concerting. I suggest less strenuous back to back shows and more 1 nighters with @ least 2 to 3 days between performances to rest her vocal cords. WH you have nothing to prove just enjoy the rest of your career and do not get caught up in the media scrutiny because all they want to do is to see you fail. Last but not least, just remember to God goes the glory for the gift. Use it to glorify him and you'll be 'FINE'. >>By Derrick L. It is obvious that she is aware that she has taken drugs and she has to know the bad things that happen to people who do that. She seems very strong willed. She is going to do what she wants. That doesn't stop her from being a good singer. She is not the only person on the planet who ever used drugs, so there is no reason to single her out for insults because of it. >>By auareldo Like someone said before she married a trashcan. Another good performance is her duet with Natalie Cole--they really SUNG!! And her live performance of "Its not Right but its okay" on the Brit Awards was superb.
